Amplifikation Lancaster

Description

The Charm Of British Chime And Jangly Sound

The fourth product on their range of Guitar Amp Simulator products which utilizes their 3rd generation of circuit modeling technology, claimed to give a satisfying dynamic response from the amp tone generated.

This time, they take one step further in translating the inspirations of Vox Amplifiers* to recreate its original tone and feel throughout the decades, making distinct sounds from the 70’s, 90’s and late 2000’s accessible for guitarists. In addition, a parallel signal path from the normal and top boost channel similar with the jumpered mod gives the amp more mojo from the tone sought after by many guitarists. A treble booster pedal FX is also included giving the plugin a total modern incarnation of the original hardware setup.

Vox AC30 were built as the demand for louder amps increased in the late 50s where the rock and roll culture began to shine. Known for its bell-like chime and bright jangly sound, undoubtedly the Vox AC30 is very influential in defining the sound of the British movement with the faces of The Beatles, Queen, The Who, The Clash, Ritchie Blackmore, Oasis, U2, and Radiohead.

Consistently in production for more than 50 years, the Vox AC30 went through many incarnations and models throughout its history of different holders. They took three of their most distinguishable tones and compiled them into one amp to rule them all: Amplifikation Lancaster

Features

  • Range Master Style Treble Booster: Inseparable with the AC30’s tone. Modified to fully match the Lancaster’s tone

  • Parallel signal path for the Normal Channel and Top Boost Channel. Use both channels simultaneously, similar to ‘jumpered’  Vox* AC30

  • 3 amp types, taken from different eras of Vox* AC30s: Lancaster A: Late 2000’s AC30. Breaks up and overdrives early. Raw and raucous. Lancaster B: 1990s Limited Edition AC30. Fat and slightly compressed. Sounds thick with overdrive or distortion. Lancaster C: Modified 1970s AC30. Cleaner sound with huge headroom, instantly recognizable for that loud jangly tone

  • Sag and Bias feature on the power amp section.

  • Low pass and high pass filters.

  • Five types of cabinets with impulse responses taken from genuine Vox combo amps.

  • Seven types of workhorse mics: Shure* SM57, Sennheiser* MD421, Sennheiser* MD441, C&T Naked Eye*, Royer* 121, AKG* C414, Neumann* TLM103.

Linda RockStack

Amp Simulator by Audified

Images

Description

Turning a Vision into a Reality

3-channel guitar software amplifier & cabinet including chorus & delay effects

As an experienced musician, mixing and mastering engineer, and programmer, Martin Linda exactly knows how he wants his guitars to sound to fit any particular mix no matter the genre. Being a long time user of various amp sims and cab impulses, one day, he started programming his dream machine of a virtual amp to create an amplifier plug-in widely usable across many rock & metal subgenres. Since then, many moons have passed, and by working in close collaboration with Audified's team of product designers and programmers, they together have made his vision into a total amp sim monster!

This uniquely sounding and unbelievably versatile virtual amp will give you control over a vast tonal palette. Its variability is mind-blowing.

Meet RockStack

RockStack is a three-channel amplifier plug-in software with an independently switchable effects section and a continuously blendable cabinet impulse section. Equipped with extensive tone-shaping options such as Pre and Post gain EQ and additional Tight, Fat, Body contours, the tonal possibilities of this amp are virtually endless. On top of that, the effects section consists of independently engageable Multi-stage chorus and Delay processing.

Created in collaboration with Linda Audio, this virtual amp is your complete virtual rig, featuring powerful pre-gain & post-gain tone-shaping and mix-ready guitar tones.

Features

  • Three-Channel Amp - RockStack delivers three distinctively different voicings - Clean, Rock, & Metal. Each of them has its specific colour and gain structure, and it can be tailored to taste by all given controls of the amplifier.
  • Tone-Gain-Tone - The difference between EQ shaping before and after a gain stage is gigantic. RockStack gives you both options. Use the Pre EQ controls to push the gain stage more in a particular frequency range, and then use the Post EQ to finalize the amp's sound making it more mix ready.
  • Tight, Fat, Body - Use the Tight to make both the low end and gain structure more focused. Use Fat to get a fuller lower-midrange response. And use Body to make the amp push more aggressively in the higher midrange.
  • Bright Switches - The three-stage multi-switch accentuates higher frequencies dynamically. Both active positions are sensitive to the input signal level. Bright I is more focused on the higher midrange, while Bright II emphasizes even higher frequencies along with little bass as well.
  • Rack Effects - The Chorus can be placed pre or post the gain stages, and it has two switchable modes. The Delay is placed after the gain stages, and it delivers anything from clean and precise digital delay to degraded and clipped repeats typical of analogue delays of yesteryear.
  • Blendable Cabinets - RockStack features two cab impulses - A & B, between which you can blend smoothly. The cabinet section can be switched off, too, in case you wish to pair RockStack with impulses of your own choice.
  • Noise Gate - The solution to keeping your sound noise-free even with higher amounts of gain. It is useful, particularly when pushing Rock and Metal channels into high saturation. When playing Clean or with lower gain sounds, you better turn it off to get maximum dynamics and retain attack information.
  • Independent Modules - Amp, Effects, and Cabinet sections can be separately switched off or used on its own.
  • Many amp sims aim to simulate exact hardware models made by specific manufacturers. They take an already existing design and recreate it in the software domain. By contrast, RockStack is tuned by an experienced producer's ear rather than derived from an existing scheme. It gives you tools to create your own mix ready rock & metal sounds instead of copying anything already existing.

Images

Description

The Lightweight Guitar Solution

For some, Electrum, United Plugins all-in-one guitar solution is too complex. Electrum Core offers a much more straightforward attitude. United Plugins simply took Electrum's amazing amp and cab simulations and stripped them from the additional effects to give you a fast way to get straight to the desired guitar tone.

The Agile Son

Electrum Core may have not inherited all its Mother's features, but it is capable of delivering any style of guitar sound - from clean guitars to heavy tones. It is meant to serve in quick operations and to get you to the goal as quickly as possible.

Smart Input Setting

Hit Analyse Input Level button and hit the strings of your guitar as hard as you intend to play. Electrum will set up the input level automatically to find the perfect sweet spot to match your signal's strength with the particular processors' ideal working point. Perfect gain-staging and volume balance helps to get the most out of Electrum.

All Amps in One

Any guitar, any style. Electrum provides five guitar amps of different levels of gain and distortion. They share common controls for quick and easy setup with no confusion. United Plugins analyzed the most profound amps on the market and created Electrum with these in mind. But United Plugins also added several perks, which let you create an amp that is truly yours.

300+ Cabinets

Electrum's unique guitar cab simulation brings 16 types of cabinet simulations combined with 21 alterations, over 300 models. Then it lets you add resonances and ambience. And it's no simple IR set, United Plugins' cabinet produces a great natural sound no IRs can provide.

Upgrade Anytime

If you will ever feel like ElectrumCore is not enough, you can always upgrade to the Mother of All Guitar Amps (Electrum, the all-in-one guitar solution) at a special price (EC owners see it after log-in).

Hassle-Free Software Protection

No iLok, no dongle nor internet access is required for activation. United Plugins' software uses licence files to activate your software. You can freely use the purchased software on all your computers as long as you are the user.

Realistic 3D, Yet Flexible GUI

The photorealistic graphic user interface of the plugin gives you the feeling you are touching the real hardware. But it easily adapts to your needs. You can always drag the arrow in the bottom right corner to change its size - make it smaller to save valuable screen space, or enlarge it to make it easier to use.

15-Days Unlimited Trial Version for FREE

All the descriptions are nothing compared to putting your hands on the plugin. No saving limits. No noises. No boundaries. Engage the plugin in your project for real and fully exploit its powers for two weeks.

64-bit Audio Quality at ANY Sampling Rate

The plugin provides the maximum audio quality you can get. It uses internal 64-bit audio processing and can handle any sampling rate. 192 kHz or even higher.

Smart Bypass

The intelligent way United Plugins manage bypassing ensures that you don't get any clicks or harmful noises when automating the parameter. It also compensates for latency ensuring that the bypass states are perfectly in sync with each other.

Intelligent Sleep on Silence

This plugin intelligently detects whether it makes sense to perform processing at all. And if not, it temporarily turns on sleep mode. In such a state, it requires virtually no CPU at all to save the computing sources for other processes.

Ampire

Amp Simulator by PreSonus

Description

Modelling Amp and Pedalboard Plug-in

Ampire Grows Up and Moves Out.

Ampire is PreSonus’ new State Space Modeled guitar amp/cab/stompbox simulator, included in Studio One Professional 4.6 and later. You get five new amplifier models, 16 cabinet emulations, and a pedalboard full of effects. Ampire is now available for use in other DAWs in VST3, AAX, and AU formats!

In short, Ampire has never sounded better, due in no small part to...

Ampire State Building

So what makes today’s Ampire so great? Well, this time around, the boys in Hamburg leveraged their expertise in State Space Modeling technology to create PreSonus' amplifier and stompbox models. This same technology also powers our StudioLive Fat Channel plug-in emulations of the venerated compressor and EQ designs that keep eBay in business—while also ensuring that the nuanced, variable sonic character of analogue survives its transition to the digital realm.

State Space Modeling isn’t about sampling old amps and effects units and getting some sounds within the sonic ballpark, no—State Space Modeling is the surgical measuring and re-creation of analogue hardware on the per-component level. Each capacitor, every resistor, all the diodes, and every circuitry element of the complete hardware schematics have their behaviour measured, modelled, and re-created... including even component-specific non-linearities.

The result? Wonderfully perfect virtual models of wonderfully imperfect audio hardware. No transformer unturned, no valve left behind.

These Aren’t Your Gramp’s Amps.

(Actually, a couple of them might be.) These five world-class amplifier models are the heart of Ampire. Each is meticulously State Space Modeled from a bonafide classic, with all their analogue-defining nonlinearities and dynamic responsiveness—critical for capturing the tone and character of vacuum tube and semiconductor-based circuitry.

State Space Modeled amps:

  • MCM800: High-gain 80s classic so loud you can hear it from Mars—all your neighbours will hear it, too.
  • VC30: Versatile 70s British invader that you May associate with a regal guitarist. Served with sides of tremolo and vibrato.
  • Blackface Twin: This loud American’s benchmark cleans and lush reverb have made it a studio staple since 1960-something.
  • Dual Amplifier: This three-channel heavy metal standard is ideal when high-gain isn’t enough gain. Many tone-shaping options.
  • Amp STV: Bass in your face with a gritty tube midrange. Stands out in a mix. Unsubtle.

Impulse Responses Bring Classic Cabs to Life.

Amps, of course, aren’t the end-all, be-all of guitar tone, as speaker cabinets do a great deal to colour the sound of a guitar rig: speaker complement, wood, and cabinet size are all determining factors in the final tone. Furthermore, when recording a speaker cab, strategic microphone placement also imparts a dramatic sonic consequence. But when it comes to emulation, speaker cabinets require a different solution than the State Space Modeling tech that PreSonus use with the amplifiers.

As the circuitry of cabinets is comparatively simple, PreSonus relied heavily on impulse responses (acoustic measurements of real-world cabinet behaviour) and microphone modelling to emulate the recording performance of the 16 classic speaker cabinets found in Ampire. You also get a microphone edit page that provides control over microphone blend, plus polarity and balance. PreSonus even included a convenient tuner.

And if you’re into DIY cabinetry, you can even create impulse responses of your own real-world cabinets and spaces and save them for use in Ampire! Mix and match amps, mics, and cabs to your heart’s content with PreSonus' best simulations yet. The following cabs are included:

  • 4x12 M65. The holy grail of hard rock cabinets, this 4x12 classic from the 80s might give you an appetite for a little destruction.
  • 4x12 MFB. The perfect 4x12 cab for modern high-gain guitar sounds, oversized to handle extra volume—when you’re ready to reaffirm your commitment to rock.
  • 2x12 VC 30. Don’t let its size fool you, too: this 2x12 cabinet can deliver scintillating tone at high volume—you’ve finally found what you’re looking for.
  • 2x12 Blackface. The dark 2x12 cabinet delivers fuzz and overdriven tones at lower volumes while still capable of sparkling, clean sounds—making it a go-to vintage standard.
  • 8x10 STV. Big bass tones that have shaken the radio for over 45 years need a cabinet the size of a refrigerator. Get the tone you want, no chiropractor required.
  • 1x12 American. Don’t let its compact size fool you—this 1x12 sealed cabinet packs a serious punch with a gut-rumbling low end.
  • 2x12 American. This classic American 2x12 cabinet can sing sweet, pristine tones and switch to a swampy blues straight out of the delta.
  • 1x12 British. With mellow high frequencies and a classic British chime, this compact 1x12 cabinet is known for its versatile tone.
  • 1x12 Boutique. This 1x12 cabinet will take you right back to the glory days of rock and roll with classic American tones.
  • 1x12 British II. Portable and affordable, this ‘70s British bulldog was a working-class hero to a thousand bands—and a million fans.
  • 2x12 Boutique. A 2x12 cabinet with peerless tone and warmth, ready to rock with versatility.
  • 4x10 American. This 4x10 cabinet is the sound of an American legend; perfect for larger-than-life clean tones and bluesy crunch.
  • 4x12 British. The 4x12 cabinet that has lorded over countless arenas and stadiums the world over with its giant wall of sound.
  • 4x12 American. Raise your fist and get ready to shred. This 4x12 only has two volumes: loud and louder.
  • 2x10 Bass. An aggressive 2x10 powerhouse that guarantees your bass will cut through the mix.
  • 8x10 Bass. Punchy, tightly-focused bass is the hallmark of this 8x10 monster. It’s a sound that you feel.
  • User Cabinet. Build your own cabinet by loading impulse response files for up to three microphone positions here. A wide variety of formats are supported.

Find Your Sound with Pedalboard

No non-Ramones tribute band guitar rig is complete without a mess of stompboxes, and Ampire doesn’t hold back in this regard. The same nerdy State-Space Modeling technology that made PreSonus' amp modelling possible also drives five of the thirteen stompboxes included in the Ampire Pedalboard. And for non-guitarists looking to use stompboxes to warp their vocals, drum machines, keyboards, kazoos, or any other audio source, the Pedalboard is also available as a stand-alone plug-in. The following stompboxes are included:

  • Big Fuzz: This distortion pedal is responsible for so many classic riffs, it would take a supermassive black hole to hold them all.
  • FAT: This 1980s popular pedalboard staple provides three controls to shape your tone for just the right amount of aggression.
  • MP Ninety: This classic phase-shifter has a singular focus and a truly unique sound.
  • PAE Chorus 1: With the flexibility of four pedals in one, this chorus is the standard to which every other chorus is compared.
  • Tube Dreamer: This overdrive pedal offers a mid-boost that has made it a staple for countless players, and can saturate an already-overdriven amp beautifully.

...Plus eight classic Ampire stompboxes from the digital imaginations that have made Studio One one of the most popular DAWs around:

  • Delay
  • Equalizer
  • Modulation (Chorus, Phaser, or Flanger)
  • Pan
  • Reverb
  • Tremolo

Virtual Amp Designer

Your tone is your identity and sometimes nothing less than a custom setup can deliver the goods.

Create authentic and mind-blowing tones that can be tweaked and fully customized.

BIAS AMP 2 is the ultimate virtual amp designer, authentically recreating the tone and feel of real tube amplifiers, while allowing you to mix and match components to create your ideal amp. Connect to the ToneCloud® to gain access to thousands of custom amps from artists and recording studios, or upload your own custom tones to the cloud.

BIAS AMP 2 represents a revolution in virtual amplifier design, providing the tools to take your ultimate guitar tone with you anywhere, from the studio to the stage and back again.

What's New in Bias Amp 2 - Create the Amp of Your Dreams

Dynamic Tone Engine

For BIAS AMP 2 we worked with artists, engineers and recording studios to improve the already hyper-authentic touch response of our amplifier circuits. The result is a new playing experience, with increased touch responsiveness and dynamics. With new tubes, transformer, dynamic tone control and a completely redesigned speaker cabinet module with multi-mic capability, you now have the tools to take your tone explorations further than ever before!

Lush Reverbs

BIAS AMP 2 also includes nine built-in reverbs, ranging from huge halls to intimate rooms with full control over the character of the reverbs. Between the different reverb types and the extensive filtering and saturation options, BIAS AMP 2 has all your reverb needs covered.

What’s New In Detail

New Tubes and Amp Packs

BIAS AMP 2 puts the focus on dynamic tube amp behaviour and feel, adding new tube types and Amp Packs and enabling thousands of new custom amp designs in the process.

The new preamp tubes are all about headroom: The new 12BH7 and 12AY7 tubes put out more gain before distortion than normal 12AX7’s, so they’re often used in bass and hi-fi amplifier designs where being both loud AND clean is super important. You’ll find that these new tubes give you more control over clean and mid-gain guitar tones, making it even easier to create dynamic sounds that break up at just the right time - or not at all.

The new power amp tubes complement the low and mid-gain focus, offering more clean power and more saturation control. A pair of the 6550 tubes puts out the same power as four EL34’s, so they have more headroom at lower master volume levels. The new KT88’s have a similar midrange to EL34’s but the bass and treble frequencies extend lower and higher, making them ideal for slamming bass and hyper-clean guitar sounds.

The new tube types and amp packs offer a host of new dynamic possibilities, giving guitarists and bassists access to a huge new library of available tones and delivering sonic inspiration with every twist of a knob.

New Transformer With “Dynamic Tone Control”

The power supplies and transformers in tube amps do more than simply provide voltage to tubes and amplify signals - they affect the frequency response of the amp in fundamental and dynamic ways. We spent a large amount of time re-examining this behaviour for BIAS AMP 2, and we came up with a new circuit we’ve added to the transformer module we call the Dynamic Tone Control. The DTC is a variable circuit that emulates the dynamic effect that power supplies and transformers have on the upper midrange response, and it can be really effective in adjusting the way the amp feels. The DTC can be magic on certain kinds of brash tones, so if you have a sound you love but it’s aggressive or brash in a way you can’t seem to control with EQ or circuit tweaking, try raising the DTC control. Higher values enhance the effect.

Studio engineers started recording guitar amps using multiple microphones as soon as they had the capability, and many Hall Of Fame guitar sounds were recorded using this technique. We’ve added this functionality to BIAS AMP 2, letting you use multiple microphones on the same cab and mix them together! Layering a dynamic 57 pointed at the dust cap (which picks up a ton of crispy treble and deep bass) with a 414 condenser aimed in between the dust cap and the speaker edge (which has less treble and more mids) results in a tone that is rounder and more full than either of those mics could produce by themselves. Now you can pull a solo out above the vocals or tuck a rhythm part behind the bass guitar just by tweaking the mic mixer.

The cabinet module also features brand new Open and Closed-back cabinet emulation, authentically recreating the distinctive bass and low mid frequency response that typifies each enclosure style. As a result, you have even more control over your core tone, allowing you to get even closer to iconic sounds with less effort.

New RTA EQ

Even though our ears are the most valuable tools we have when creating tones, sometimes it’s really helpful to be able to look at a tone visually. The new RTA EQ module displays a realtime frequency analysis of the signal running through it, making it easy to spot a problem frequency range or see what affect your circuit tweaks are having on the overall guitar sound. You won’t have to ask yourself “what is the frequency of that low midrange bump I’m hearing?”, because the RTA EQ will show it to you, allowing you to tame it quickly and easily.

Solidus VS8100

Amp Simulator by Audiority

Images

Description

Solidus VS8100 is an analogue simulation of the iconic Marshall® Valvestate™ 8100, solid-state amplifier from 1991.

The original head was the first incarnation of the Valvestate™ series, a solid-state amplifier with a 12AX7 tube as a driver for the distorted channel tone stack, which defined the history of death metal through the 90s. It featured two channels: a Normal channel, for clean guitars, and a Boost channel for distortions.

Audiority carefully modelled the original amplifier and added some goodies to further shape your guitar tone: a noise gate, an EQ/Booster (to make your own custom clean booster), a post-amp 5 band EQ and a Cab Loader.

Integrated cabinets provided by Dr Bonkers Sound Lab and Valhallir.at

The amp section of Lunchbox allows you to tweak the amp controls much like a real amp you also have the option of switching between 3 factory selected cabs (which will update the GUI as well), you can also bypass the cab IR to use your own.

The Pedals
