NOVO Modern Strings

Past. Present. Future.
Heavyocity had one goal in mind when they set out to create NOVO: “make strings new again.” Recorded at the famous Eastwood Scoring Stage at Warner Bros. Studios, of course NOVO is a world-class, deeply-sampled orchestral strings instrument. But that’s where its similarities to other orchestral VI’s end. Beyond the almost 40GB of fully-customizable sound-designed string samples, NOVO enables composers to tweak, process, layer, and sequence like no virtual instrument ever has before. Imagine the possibility of fusing superior orchestral strings with Heavyocity’s signature sound design; it’s a new frontier in hybrid film, game, and television scoring. Simply put, there has never been a cinematic strings instrument quite like NOVO. And in all likelihood, there probably never will be.
Traditional
![]()
At its core, NOVO is a sonically superior orchestral string library. Featuring full orchestral violin, viola, cello, and bass ensembles, NOVO delivers the sought-after string sound of famed composers like Hans Zimmer and Danny Elfman. The Eastwood Scoring Stage at Warner Bros. is in and of itself a Hollywood legend -- where classics like the thrilling theme from Jaws and the driving strings from Mad Max: Fury Road, were captured in stunning detail. Combined with performances from the finest players in Los Angeles (Cinema Scoring Group), and collaboration with acclaimed Film Score Mixer Satoshi Mark Noguchi (Lion, Midnight Special), and you have the makings of a string instrument that sets new standards for beauty, lushness, and aggression. And with NOVO’s unparalleled sound also comes unparalleled control. For the first time in a string VI, NOVO features auto down-and-up bowing for the most natural-sounding staccato and spiccato string performances you’ve ever heard. With close, room, and hall mic positions and a core set of key articulations.
Evolved
![]()
Since releasing Evolve in 2008, Heavyocity has built their reputation on equipping the modern composer with cutting-edge hybrid cinematic scoring elements. NOVO takes that ethos to the next level. Armed with the sonic potential of a 50-piece orchestra, Heavyocity employed their signature sound-design techniques: tweaking, processing, mangling, and mashing up these pristine sources into the most inspired, most dynamic, and most evocative elements they’ve ever created. Add in the functionalities of the innovative NOVO engine, and the cinematic composer now has access to the most dynamic sound-shaping functionality a strings instrument has ever offered. Simply put, NOVO is Modern Strings.
CYCLE
![]()
NOVO delivers a vast library that sounds great right ‘out-of-the-box’, but what truly gives NOVO its power is the level of control and sound manipulation provided by the interface. Enter CYCLE, a brand new dynamic playback engine from Heavyocity. The product of years of in-house development, CYCLE boasts a set of controls that can quickly create rhythmic pulses, swells, stutters, and glitch effects, as well as effectual granular-style pads for ambient drones and textures. CYCLE can be used to add subtle motion to a sustained pad, or to completely transform a sound into glitchy mayhem. Long, evolving sequences can be crafted by chaining up to eight patterns together. The possibilities for sound design with CYCLE are virtually limitless; proceed with caution.
Macros
![]()
With the multitude of sound-shaping controls available in NOVO, wouldn’t it be nice to consolidate them all into one, assignable knob? We thought so too. Introducing MACRO CONTROL, the front-and-center control knob for the String Designer and Loop Designer. It can be assigned to control multiple parameters across each channel including volume, pan, EQ, envelope, and various effects. Using the MACRO sequencer, you can program swells, stutters, and sequenced effects for subtly evolving timbres or frenetic, aggressive modulation. Each preset comes with a unique set of MACRO knob assignments, allowing you to instantly alter each sound to your specific needs.
Loops
![]()
It is Heavyocity’s mission to deliver world-class production-ready sound sources to enable workflow and enhance creativity. The LOOP DESIGNER is the epitome of that mission. Packed with over 400 loops laid out across three individual channels, the LOOP DESIGNER enables efficient sketching and cue-building for the deadline-driven composer. Craft complex rhythms, multi-layered motifs, and ambient textures with ease, using NOVO’s unparalleled string and hybrid sound sources. Looking for more control? Mold and shape each unique loop channel with independent control over volume, pan, tuning, and start point. If you’re looking for instant inspiration for your cinematic composition, or a great place to start for writing cues, NOVO’s cutting edge LOOP DESIGNER is the solution.

FORZO Modern Brass
Kontakt Instrument by Heavyocity

Description
![]()
A New Benchmark.
From John Williams to Hans Zimmer, orchestral brass has been a source of force and power in the modern era of film scoring. Heavyocity's FORZO: Modern Brass was made in that image. Recorded at the legendary Skywalker Sound, FORZO is the product of Heavyocity's world-class sound design team joining forces with award-winning composer, Jason Graves, and A-list Hollywood Film Score Engineer Satoshi Mark Noguchi. This dream team entered the hallowed halls of Skywalker with one goal in mind: create a new benchmark for orchestral brass.
Beyond Ordinary
Amassing an epic ensemble of world-class brass players was the first step in bringing this monster to life; FORZO's 12 french horns, four trumpets, eight trombones (tenor, bass, & contrabass), and two tubas deliver 25 GB of sheer brass power straight into the hands of the cinematic composer. Creative articulations like cluster bends and random flutters flex these sections’ muscles in a way that you just haven’t heard before. And when you want to truly harness this explosive brass VI, FORZO's Full Ensemble NKI puts the entire 26-piece brass orchestra (playing at the same time, in the same room) at your fingertips. You've heard brass, but not like this. FORZO: Modern Brass is truly beyond ordinary.
Skywalker Sound
Where does a composer go to get premier-level sound? They go to a world-renowned soundstage. And the main soundstage at Skywalker Sound is just that. It’s where cutting-edge films like Clint Mansel’s The Fountain, and classic games like Jason Graves’ Dead Space 2 & Steve Jablonsky’s Gears of War scores were recorded. This is FORZO: the sound of virtuoso players performing in a room where Hollywood’s finest films were scored. This epic soundstage is a living, breathing instrument in and of itself, surrounding the brass with an organic warmth that can’t be recreated with plugins or algorithms. The team at Heavyocity travelled across the country to record in this iconic room, and now they’re sharing these inspiring sounds with you.

Description
The Ultimate Pro Horn Collection
Big Fish Audio are proud to present MOJO 2: Horn Section, their biggest and most advanced instrument to date! After the release of the hugely successful MOJO: Horn Section, Vir2 knew its sequel had to build upon the already advanced sampling and playability of the first volume. Vir2 went back to the drawing board, fully redesigned the instrument, and recorded all brand new samples. MOJO 2 delivers the most flexible and innovative approach to Pop, Funk, Jazz, and Big Band horns ever created in a virtual instrument with an incredibly simple but feature-packed interface. After years of development by an amazingly talented team, Vir2 are proud to release the premier horn section of the decade.
New Features in Version 2.0

-
True Legato: With Legato Mode you can play the most realistic melodies possible. Vir2 meticulously recorded the transition period between each and every note, allowing you to play beautiful horn lines that sound truly lifelike.
-
A Full Horn Ensemble: MOJO 2 lets you instantly adjust from 1 to 10 players per instrument to add extra depth and power to your performance. Further parameters give you control over the humanization and stereo spread of the ensemble.
-
Customize Your Sound: Blend the three available mic positions (close, near, and room) to get the perfect mix. Utilize keynoise overlay to introduce the sound of the musician's interaction with the instrument, and tailor the horns with an extensive FX suite.
Music Through the Ages
There are four unique era modes that act as time machines, effortlessly transporting all seventeen included horns from one iconic era to the next. Era settings include: Modern, Retro (60’s-70’s), Vintage 1 (40’s-50’s), and Vintage 2 (20’s-30’s).

Symphonic Destruction
Kontakt Instrument by Heavyocity
Images
Description
![]()
The Damaged Orchestra
Heavyocity has deconstructed the orchestra—rebuilding it from the ground up to push the bounds of power, creativity, and aggression in modern scoring. Thrilling traditional combinations, visceral sound design and the gnarliest Braams you've ever heard.
More to Damage
This is what it sounds like when Heavyocity apply the epic approach of Damage 2 to the orchestra. A collection of hybrid DAMAGED elements—like Full Orchestra Portatos saturated with analog gear—that attack your cues with the same energy and vigour that you do.
Design Your Score
The heart of Symphonic Destruction (the SD Designer) is all about POWER. Heavyocity rebuilt the orchestra to combine creative organic, inspiring rhythmic, and signature sound design elements, unleashing a new generation of epic, cinematic scores.
Brutalist Braams
The Braams in SD haven't just been created, they've been unearthed from the ground and violently destroyed. Coupled with the innovative Braam Designer—deconstructing each Braam to its unique components—and the endless combinations will ensure your Braam well never runs dry.
Rhythmic Pedals
Whether you're scoring an intense chase scene or a nail-biting thriller, you're going to need dynamic rhythmic elements to drive your scene forward. Good thing SD includes nearly 100 inspiring rhythmic pedals, ranging from the sweet to the severe, the delicate to the destroyed.
Melodic Motifs
Heavyocity know you use 'em (it's okay, they do too). And if you're gonna use loops, you might as well use the best ones out there. And here comes SD to refill your tonal loop tank, complete with the most thrilling, the most inspiring, and the MOST EPIC melodic motif loops you've got in your arsenal.
Sonic Deconstruction
It's an all-new approach to orchestral scoring, combining traditional, hybrid, synth, heavy guitars—anything to level up the epic of your composition. One thing's for sure...the orchestra will never be the same.
![]()
Endless Content
It's not just that Symphonic Destruction contains an insane amount of incredibly usable hybrid cinematic content. It's that the powerful SD Engine also contains the sound-shaping capabilities to never stop making that content new.
![]()
Instant Cue
True inspiration in an instrument comes from the power to move, challenge, and inspire the composer. Symphonic Destruction is up to the task. Fire it up, and you'll see: In preset after preset, patch after patch, there's a film cue laid out across the 88 keys.

Mojo: Horn Section
Kontakt Instrument by Vir2 Instruments
Images
Description
The heart and soul of pop, funk, and big band horn sections
Inspired by legendary groups like Tower of Power and the big bands of decades past, MOJO is capable of emulating everything from a sultry sax solo to a screaming full big band playing at the top of their lungs.
Now at the tips of your fingers is the most versatile horn section in the world, MOJO: Horn Section, which offers the most flexible and innovative approach to pop, funk, jazz, and big band horns ever created in a virtual instrument.
Pushing the boundaries of sampling and scripting technology far beyond traditional sample libraries, MOJO offers a simple but feature-packed interface. No need to decide in advance which articulation you want to play. Simply load the instrument, turn the Ensemble knob to specify how many players you want playing that instrument (from a soloist to a dectet) and begin controlling the instrument from the keyboard. More than a dozen articulations are instantly loaded and intelligently handled via performance features and keyswitches. Behind the scenes, a humanizing function, smart release layers, and custom legato and vibrato tools assist the player in reproducing the ultimate dimensions in realism. Crescendos and swells sync instantly to host tempos and can be triggered in real time.
Included in the instrument collection are: soprano, alto, tenor, and baritone saxophones, trumpet (open, muted, and piccolo), flugelhorn, trombone (open and muted), bass trombone, and clarinet. The articulation list varies for each instrument, but generally includes sustains, stabs, staccatos, trills, slurs, shakes, octave runs, rise to hits, falls (including four different lengths), doits, bends, stylistic riffs, special effects, and tempo-synced swells and crescendos. All samples are recorded in 24-bit stereo using the finest preamps in the world, including a vintage Neve 1073 and a LaChapell Audio 992EG, and mics by AKG, Neumann, and Coles.
MOJO is powered by the popular Kontakt engine, offering total integration into all major sequencers via its AudioUnit, VST, and RTAS plug-ins, as well as standalone operation.
At the heart of MOJO are twelve core instruments: Trumpet, Trombone, Trumpet Muted, Trombone Muted, Piccolo Trumpet, Bass Trombone, Soprano Sax, Alto Sax, Tenor Sax, Bari Sax, Clarinet, and Flugelhorn. Using MOJO is as simple as deciding which instrument to load. Solo and ensemble playing is built into each individual core patch, as are all articulations and release types. MOJO makes it as easy and straightforward as possible to begin playing without having to make too many decisions or sifting through dozens of patches. When any of the twelve core instruments are loaded, this interface is displayed.
![]()
The first two knobs allow you to control how many players should be playing this instrument (from one to ten) and which mode they should be playing in (polyphonic, monophonic, or legato). These knobs, as well as virtually every other parameter in the MOJO interface, can be controlled via MIDI, so these knobs can be programmed and adjusted on the fly. Using these features, it's easy to sequence a stacked trumpet section, then switch to a solo trumpet, then return to the section, all within one MIDI track or performance.
As you add players to the ensemble, MOJO intelligently spreads the ensemble around the stereo field and gives you control over their spread, tuning variation, and other aspects of the group.
The onscreen display shows you which articulation and release type is active at any given time. Each instrument includes various articulations and release layers which are triggered via keyswitches, such as bends, runs, crescendos, swells, doits, falls, staccatos, stabs, and more.
Doits, falls of various speeds, and up-slurs are available as releases and are also triggerable via keyswitches. In other words, hold down a sustain chord, then hold down the keyswitch trigger, then exactly when you release the original chord, MOJO will play the release articulation, ascending from the original notes you played.
Swells and crescendos are programmed to sync to the tempo of the host sequencer. Using MOJO's advanced automatic timestretching, you can configure MOJO to play swells and crescendos that are the exact number of beats you want, from 1 beat to 18 beats. MOJO will also follow a changing tempo, so if the tempo changes in the middle of the song, swells and crescendos will adjust automatically.
Each core instrument includes a full suite of integrated effects, such as compression, limiting, reverb, EQ, and more.
Many other engines and controls have been integrated into MOJO, including physically modeled vibrato, advanced humanization, character control (allowing adjustment between mellow vs. aggressive playing), attack control for more percussive playing, and EZRoom one-click convolution reverb.
In addition to the twelve core instruments discussed above, MOJO includes prerecorded riffs and special effects.
Riffs
MOJO includes an extensive library over over 1600 riffs spread across the twelve instruments. Each riff has been recorded in specific keys and has been tempo-synced, and the MOJO engine allows for instant transposition and time-stretching of the riffs.
The interface of each riffs patch looks like this (click to enlarge). Each patch is notated with the instrument, original BPM, and original key.
Controls in the bottom right corner allow for the instant transposition into other keys. Tempo-syncing is done automatically; MOJO reads the tempo of the host sequencer and adjusts the riff accordingly.
MOJO also includes hundreds of stylistic special effects. These are typically one-shot samples which can be added to enhance realism when recording instruments in MOJO.
Humanize Engine
The integrated humanizing engine works to provide variety in sample selection and differentiation. The core library includes two distinct takes of nearly everything in the MOJO library, and the humanizing engine works to select alternate takes and introduce tiny randomization elements to avoid the dreaded machine-gun effect and to make playback sound as real and varied as a real horn ensemble. Full control over the extent of the humanization (as well as complete bypass) are offered in the interface.
Character Control
MOJO offers an adjustable Character control that lets you tailor velocity response to different styles of playing, in six degrees from mellow to aggressive. A Punch knob allows you to add additional attack intensity for rhythmic playing. All parameters are controllable by remote MIDI CC's.
Physically Modeled Vibrato
MOJO includes several distinct types of physically modeled vibrato. Going far beyond traditional LFO vibrato, the physically modeled vibrato engine recreates authentic vibrato types created by analyzing real horn players. This special vibrato is available in all MOJO instruments except for the saxophones, where real sampled vibrato is used instead.
EZRoom
EZRoom is an integrated convolution reverb option, allowing the user to instantly place the percussion instruments in one of more than fifty different custom sonic spaces; everything from chapels and halls to caverns, small rooms, and unique esoteric spaces is included. When EZRoom is activated, new knobs for dry and wet levels appear, allowing full control over the level and balance of the convoluted sound.

For optimum performance, Vir2 Instruments recommends a 2.0GHz processor or faster, and 2GB or more of RAM. The library requires 15GB of free hard drive space.
- MOJO will run in standalone mode and is also compatible with every major sequencing package in the world, including but not limited to: Apple Logic and GarageBand, MOTU Digital Performer, Digidesign Pro Tools 7 & 8 (TDM, LE, and M-Powered), Steinberg Cubase and Nuendo, Ableton Live, and more.

Mercury Symphonic Boyschoir
Kontakt Instrument by Soundiron
Images
Description
The Mercury Symphonic Boy Choir is easily the single most comprehensive, playable and powerfully deep-sampled children's choir ever released. There is a profoundly moving quality in the sound of a traditional English boy's choral ensemble -- solemn lows, angelic highs and an overwhelming innocence that harkens back to the days of youth and purity. With Mercury, we managed to capture this unique spirit as we painstakingly sampled the Pacific Boychoir (ages 8-13) in the same large crystal-clear hall that we recorded our Olympus choirs (Mars & Venus), while drawing on our past production experiences with the original Tonehammer Requiem and Liberis girl's choir releases. Conducted by Robert Geary and Directed by Kevin Fox, this award-winning chorus produces pure stellar tonality and soul through a wide range of different essential choral articulations. Mercury features 42 staccato & 42 sustaining marcato syllables, each with deep round-robin and stacking/layering capabilities, 18 tempo-syncing Latin poly-syllabic sustains with phrase-synchronus polyphonic legato, molto fortissimo poly-staccatos, 6 dynamic true legato vowels (ah, oh, oo, eh, ee, mm) with intercal transition speed control and a classic ensemble whistling legato. It also includes droned and whispered chants, staccatos and sutains, choral trills, sweeps, swells and other choral effects. You'll also find two exquisite soloists (younger soprano and older alto), each with a wide range of poly-syllabic phrases, staccatos and fluid true legato.
Mercury features a full boy's choral ensemble (ages 8-13) and 2 soloists, singing traditional Catholic Latin, including a full range of standard vowel and consonant sounds. Mercury has been mixed into 2 masterfully blended composite microphone distances (stage and hall), carefully blended from an array of 12 discreet large diaphragm Neumann Microphones, with wide pairs ranging in distance from 1 meter to 20 meters. Surround mixing is made simple, with the best balance between placement, flexibility and performance, without compromising the truly awesome sound these boys deliver. In addition to the true legato chorus sustains, all sustaining articulations in the library include 3-part polyphonic pseudo-legato (all vowel sustains, fast and slow polysustains, soloist vowel sustains, soloist slow and melodic poly-sustains).
Several presets also include our custom Phrasemaster adaptive phrase-building system, which allows you to automatically progress through a sequence of staccato or marcato syllables, advancing to the next one each time you play a new note, with up to 16 sequencable presets that can be arranged, modified and triggered in realtime using automation and keyswitching. We're also proud to introduce our new Wordmaster system, a powerful marcato/staccato sequencing tool that let's you choose from 42 different words for two independent articulation layers and switch them from staccato to sustaining marcato at the push of a button or press of a keyswitch. It provides the convenience of instant word-building with the quality, realism and reliability of hand-tailored content.

Description
![]()
After nearly a decade, the epic sequel to the iconic original has finally arrived. Damage 2 is here to, once again, melt your face off. It’s the epic ensembles recorded at Skywalker Sound. It’s the aggressively Damaged hybrid elements. It’s the 860+ gut-punching loops. It’s the truly-realistic crescendos, swells, and flourishes of the MIDI performance tool. It’s the three discrete engines with unique and inspiring workflows. This orchetral drums VST pack's all the things that made the original Damage great, except bigger, badder, and better. Welcome to the next generation of percussion virtual instruments.
Epic Sources
Damage 2 is brimming with over 40,000 samples, and nearly 60 GB’s of pure percussive inspiration. The Heavyocity team brought in truckloads of drums and percussive elements for the D2 Sessions; an arsenal of 24” to 72” gran casas, 24” to 60” Taikos, huge bass drums, giant snare ensembles, toms, ethnic drums, a myriad of struck found sound elements. Heck, Heavyocity even rolled a dumpster onto the world-class scoring stage at Skywalker Sound. And now, these nearly-1600 sources have been placed into your hands -- with five discrete mic channels (Close, Room, Hall, LFE, and CRUSH), and a highly-customizable performance and effects engine. The stage is set... now go forth, and Damage AGAIN!
Aggressively Damaged
Did you ever expect Heavyocity would release Damage 2 without a healthy dose of brutal impacts, visceral transitions, and devastating hits? They didn’t either. That’s why this cinematic beast comes ready to attack, with hundreds of Hybrid and Damaged sources, processed and mangled by the award-winning Heavyocity team. If you’ve ever reached for the aggressive and epic elements from the first Damage, then consider D2 a replenishing of the essentials. Make sure no matter what your next project is -- cue, track, or trailer -- it hits with the full power of Damage 2.
What's included in Damage 2?
- The Ultimate Epic Percussion Toolkit, recorded at the legendary Skywalker Sound
- 1600 Unique Sources & Ensembles, from massive Drums to face-melting Damaged elements to inspiring Loops
- Three Instrumentsdeliver Three Next-Gen Workflows: the Ensemble Designer, Kit Designer, and Loop Designer
- Create Truly Realisticcrescendos, swells, flourishes, and more with the Unprecedented MIDI Performance Tool
- 200+ Snapshots delivered across 20 Categories, featuring Heavyocity's signature DAMAGED sound design
Next-Gen Engine
Ensemble Designer
Built for maximum playability and unparalleled epic sound, the Ensemble Designer is the cinematic centerpiece of Damage 2. Start with the intuitive Browser, which makes loading the giant collection of individual and custom-designed banks of sources quick and easy. Got your sources ready? Start dialing them in with five discrete mic positions (including an analog “CRUSH” mic and a low frequency “LFE” channel), and instant 3D positioning on the updated Stage. Next up, try your hand creating truly-realistic patterns, rolls, crescendos, swells, and more with the unprecedented MIDI performance tool. And what would Damage 2 be without your old friend PUNISH, this time with three distinct flavors -- Gently Now, Hurt Me Plenty, and Nightmare -- for when you really want to dial in the devastation.
Kit Designer
In the years they spent developing Damage 2, Heavyocity made the firm decision that inflicting Damage wasn’t going to be just for composers and their 88 weighted keys. Thus, the Kit Designer was born. Consider it a producer’s playground, with its 16-voice Drum Kit layout designed to integrate seamlessly with Maschine, MPC-type, and Standard MIDI kit control schemes. Those of you exclusively on keyboard controllers shouldn’t feel left out, the Kit Designer’s sounds are completely MIDI Note assignable, and the independent FX chains for each voice -- complete with compression, reverb, saturation, and more -- provide a ripe canvas for deep sound design and experimentation. Over 50 kit snapshots, stylized in Hybrid and Damaged categories, are great starting points for inspiring total track destruction.
Loop Designer
Damage loops have become the stuff of legends in artist, producer, and composer circles, so the Heavyocity team took the task of creating the D2 loops extremely seriously. Who doesn’t have a story where a Damage loop bailed you out from a fast-approaching deadline? The 864 tempo-synced loops in Damage 2 are built to be equally usable and equally inspiring. Covering Organic, Hybrid, and Damaged sound profiles in straight and triplet meters, Damage 2’s reimagined Loop Designer makes creating unique and immersive percussion beds almost too easy. When you’re ready to start tweaking, dial up the Modwheel to engage the Unique Send FX layer, allowing you to add modulation and effects to each loop. Build your own FX chain, and make the loops your own. Turn on the Modulation table to sequence the movement for even greater control. When time is tight, and you need percussion, Damage 2 will answer the call.

Description
![]()
AizerX Hybrid Cyberpunk Toolkit is the latest addition to Keepforest's successful AizerX series. Inspired by the atmosphere of the cyberpunk world, this new library offers a lot of character and personality with a cinematic futuristic vibe that perfectly captures the philosophy of the genre.
As a powered-by-AizerX-engine tool for composers and sound designers, this library is able to simplify the sound design process, and also opens up new possibilities for incredible creative ideas.
AizerX Hybrid Cyberpunk Toolkit offers the signature sound randomizing feature, delivers a deep library of samples from classic braams, trailer hits, signals, alarms to screaming resonators and distortions.
The centrepiece of the AizerX Hybrid Cyberpunk Toolkit is a selection of tempo-synced drum loops, hybrid pulses, and stems of different categories. You can create variations of energetic, dynamic drum and pulse patterns at different tempos, varying among themselves and combining individual sound layers.
A collection of multi-sampled playable basses, leads, plucks, pulses and signals is also a main feature of the new library.
And by tradition, in collaboration with various artists established in the movie trailer industry, Keepforest has prepared a special Artist Stems category, which contains stems and cues made by the artists, where you can borrow elements, structures, and tricks from experienced composers and will help you get inspired, learn from experience and save your time.

Density allows you to spend less time searching for the perfect sound and spend more time creating it.
A Library of 1500 One-Shots Offering Unlimited Possibilities
This arsenal of sounds goes well beyond the typical and generic braaams and hits. Each one was carefully chosen to give you just the right amount of edge for both thriller and horror compositions.
Three Fully Playable Instruments For More Realistic And Human-Sounding Productions
Each playable instrument goes deep with articulations, for the most human feel possible. Recorded with up to 7 Round Robins and 4 Dynamic Layers for incredible realism, while maintaining CPU efficiency.
Rare One-of-a-Kind Cello
As composers themselves, Mammoth Audio knew it was vital to include the cello. Elephant Music is known for its signature experimental cello cues, giving them their unique voice in the industry, recorded in the style of Richard Schrieber. Featuring untraditional articulations, such as strumming with a $10 bill, or using wire instead of a bow.
Unique Blend of Tubas, Trombones, French Horns and more...
A solo brass instrument like a Tuba or trombone is a sound designer’s dream. Mammoth Audio captured the raw sound of the instrument in a way that carefully balances its distinct character, while still allowing composers to manipulate it to their own ends. The unique nature of a physically blown instrument creates some incredibly varied and interesting noises, that are ESPECIALLY useful when creating Braams
Throat Singer
No other competitor has been bold enough to include something as less obvious than Throat Singing. And it has been a highlight for many of Mammoth Audio's composers. They decided to feature it as a fully playable instrument so composers could completely freestyle with articulations in order to create other-worldly sounding impacts and pads.
Meticulously Engineered By 6 Of The Most In-Demand Composers In The World Today
Density covers the gamut of intangible scoring elements that every up-and-coming creator should have in their toolkit.
Each one-shot and instrument was crafted and curated to work together to free composers from the trappings of tradition, and instead, allow them to boldly carve out their own sonic signatures.
Density is a creative tool designed by the people behind some of the biggest movie trailers in the world. So you know you’ll have every sound you need to get the projects done fast and easy, every time. Some of their credits include:
- Avengers: End Game
- Blade Runner: 2049
- Game of Thrones
- The Walking Dead
- Call of Duty
- The Handmaid's Tale
A Practical User Interface Designed BY Composers, FOR Composers
The core of Density is focused around the user experience, providing the freedom to infinitely mix, manipulate, and even transform samples into awesome twisted, evolving instruments. With so many “all-encompassing” virtual music instruments on the market, sifting through thousands of buttons and sliders disrupts the creative process. That’s why Mammoth Audio made sure that only the most important controls (like ADSR) were upfront and prominent, in order to reduce overwhelm.
