Vocal Cleaner

Vocal Processing by W.A. Production

Images

Description

Syllables That Shine

However hard you try, capturing a perfect vocal is an almost impossible task. Contending with plosives and pops, crackles and clicks, has driven many a producer to distraction.

The first hurdle is getting your dry vocal track as pristine as possible and fixing all those troublesome little audio imperfections. This is way before you can even think about compression or reverb.

Vocal Cleaner puts your vocals through a rinse cycle, subtly taming harsh sibilance and removing intermittent noise. With simple threshold sliders and Amount dials for easy operation, this should be the first plugin in your vocal effects chain, taking the pain out of that initial stage of vocal processing. So load it into your DAW and get ready to really clean up.

De-Noise

Applying an intelligent algorithm to the incoming audio, this process splits the signal into voice and noise and allows you to strip away the background hum, hiss and other extraneous noise. Experiment with the main fader and the Amount dial to reduce the noise to a manageable level without compromising the vocal quality.

De-Ess

Hissing mouth sounds created by “sss” and “shh” sounds are known as sibilance. These can be exaggerated by some microphones and result in a recording that sounds unbalanced and is difficult to listen to comfortably. The De-Es unit within Vocal Cleaner detects these harsh high frequency sounds and creates an intelligent and adaptable EQ curve, reducing the volume of these unwanted artefacts.

Noise Gate

Setting a minimum threshold of amplitude, the Noise Gate clamps down on quiet sections of audio whilst letting louder parts through. This is ideal for cutting out breath sounds and room noise. Fine-tune the effect with the Amount dial to maintain a natural sound.

Bright, Natural & Dark

The signal algorithms are optimised for audio with different qualities, so you can click the B/N/D buttons to tailor the processing to your individual needs. Choose either Bright, for high frequency noise, dark for noise in the lower register or Natural for a balanced effect.

High / Low Filter & Presence

Using the high and low pass filter helps to roll-off unwanted hum and upper frequencies, balancing the audio in a comfortable centre-ground. The Presence control restores some of the definition with a combination of saturation, compression and EQ.

Bright, Natural & Dark (B/N/D)

The signal algorithms are optimised for audio with different qualities, so you can click the B/N/D buttons to tailor the processing to your individual needs. Choose either Bright, for high frequency noise, dark for noise in the lower register or Natural for a balanced effect.

Bypass, Output & Master Mix

The bypass control is smoothed to be as click and pop free as possible for unhindered A/B testing when combined with the Output dial. Choose to mix the cleaned vocal signal with your original raw audio via the central Master Mix ratio control, allowing you to dial down the impact of heavier processing for parallel effects.

Visual Feedback

The live VU meters of the interface show exactly what’s happening to the signal as it travels through each stage of cleaning in real time. This allows for accurate monitoring at every step of the chain.

Presets

With many included presets, it’s easy to find the perfect starting point for almost any type of vocal. With specific presets for female vocals, male vocals, backing vocals and many other options, you can find useful initial settings for most types of voice.

  • Easy to use clean up for all sorts of vocals

A one-stop for past, present, and future vocal sounds, VocalSynth 2 features a Vocoder, Compuvox, Polyvox, Talkbox, and Biovox: a brand new effect based on the sonic qualities of the human vocal tract.

The evolution of vocals

Elevate your vocal productions with the music production’s most unique plug-in experience for vocals. Quickly get old school sounds you need or create a new school of vocal sounds. Get lost in layers, textures, effects, blending, and morphing in an experimental vocal playground and finally find that secret something that makes your vocals stand out. Choose and meld five unique vocal tools or pick from hundreds of presets for quick impact.

Killer sounds out of the box

We’ve completely redesigned VocalSynth to get you a better sound, faster than ever. Through meticulous design we’ve made improvements to every aspect of VocalSynth including: expanding the Vocoder for a more faithful sound, packing more power into Shred, optimizing CPU, adding more control within each module, and much more. We’ve also added brand new presets that take full advantage of all VocalSynth has to offer, so you can get up and running right out of the box.

Biovox: Vocals down to a science

Create and manipulate your biological imprint with a brand new vocal effect. Using scientific modelling of a human vocal tract, adjust human vocal characteristics like nasality, vowel shapes, and formants for a smooth, textural vocal treatment to any audio signal. Use surgically to adapt takes to better fit your production or apply as a creative effect to make a vocal more present, breathy, or totally mangle it!

Stompbox playground

Further enhance your production with a custom drag-and-drop vocal effects chain featuring seven experimental effects including a new and improved Shred, Ring Mod, Chorus, Distort, Filter, Transform, and Delay. Add a little extra something special for a perfect cocktail of vocal effects.

Interactive visualization

Meet the Anemone, VocalSynth 2’s colorful animation that moves and grows with the shape of your audio signal. Driven by an advanced spectral analysis that reacts to the sonic characteristic of vowels, the Anemone blends fun interaction with a unique metering experience.

Inter-plugin communication

VocalSynth 2 works within the ecosystem of iZotope products. Like Neutron, Ozone, and Tonal Balance Control, VocalSynth 2 features inter-plugin communication, allowing seamless integration with essential tools for music production and analysis. VocalSynth 2 can be seen within Neutron 2’s Visual Mixer and Masking Meter and also within Tonal Balance Control, allowing you to interact and get visual feedback in real time.

3 Ways to Play

Three different modes allow you to interact with VocalSynth 2 in a way that suits your style.  Helpful in-app setup instructions tailored to your DAW get you up and running with ease, so you can spend more time making creative decisions.

  • Auto: Lock your vocals into key with real-time pitch correction, generate additional voices and harmonies, and seamlessly blend your module settings with VocalSynth’s intuitive mix panel.
  • MIDI: Use MIDI signal to control your pitch and effortlessly create custom vocal harmonies as you play. This replicates the experience of playing a classic vocoder or talkbox!
  • Side chain: Rather than using the synthesizer within VocalSynth, pipe in your own audio to use as your “carrier” signal.  This lets you make any audio “talk” or create new outlandish sounds that would be impossible otherwise.

Features

  • Biovox: Using scientific modelling of a human vocal tract, adjust human vocal characteristics like nasality, vowel shapes, and formants for a smooth, textural vocal treatment to any audio signal.
  • Stompbox-style effects: VocalSynth 2’s effects include two brand new pedal-style effects: Chorus and Ring Mod with a unique tremolo effect. Now drag to re-order all seven effects including an improved Shred with sequencer as well as Distort, Filter, Transform, and Delay.
  • 3 ways to play: VocalSynth 2 is built to be flexible, giving you three ways to interact and create: Auto Mode, MIDI Mode, and Sidechain Mode.
  • Inter-plugin communication: Use VocalSynth 2 within Neutron 2’s Visual Mixer and Masking Meter, as well as Tonal Balance Control for a bird’s eye view of your music production at all times.
  • Extensive sonic enhancements to the Vocoder module as well as Talkbox, Polyvox, and Compuvox that improve usability, CPU utilization, and sound quality.
  • Reimagined interface with deep control: VocalSynth 2 includes a brand new, modern interface and the addition of advanced synthesizer controls for each individual module. Paired with a fluid, evolving visualization, VocalSynth 2 is primed for hours of creativity with you at the helm.

SpeakUp

Vocal Processing by Audified

Images

Description

"So They Can Hear What You Say"

Creating voice-overs has never been easier.

Adjusting the volume of a spoken word in a video can be time-consuming. In Audified, we thought there could be much easier way to edit voice-overs. Just add music and SpeakUp.

  • Advanced voice detection
  • Time-saving tool
  • Two independent control buses
  • Adjusting spectrum of music track to make speech clearly audible
  • Allows complex combinations of Sensor & Performer plug-ins
  • Cooperates with DAW automation

Story Behind SpeakUp

SpeakUp has emerged from the necessity to simplify the process of creating voiceovers and YouTube shows. SpeakUp plugin bundle does exactly that. Applying the SpeakUp Sensor plugin on the speech track and SpeakUp Performer on the music allows you to focus only on what is really important - your show. User friendly control allows you to adjust the plug-in behavior to suit you the best.

Do They Hear What You Say?

Some video editors spend hours of their precious time by adjusting the volume perfectly.
We kept them in mind. The responsive plugins assure the ideal blend of voice, background sounds and music.
SpeakUp was composed by professionals. For professionals.

Manual Voice-Over Adjusting

Voice-over projects takes a long time to prepare and it is not the most creative part of show production. And being radio-show-hosts is not easy while you have to master the multitasking skill to control the music and advertisements while doing talk-show. Easy to use tool that covers the technicality while allowing you to focus on show itself is not available.

SpeakUp Does It For You

SpeakUp, the unique tool that makes it all for you. So you can focus on the more important parts of your project.

SpeakUp Sensor

Just right amount of control.

  • Sensitivity - adjust the threshold of voice-over detection
  • Lookahead - tell the Sensor plugin how much to delay the speech so the music fades-out before the speech in the final render.
  • Control Bus - choose up to two independent control busses if you need sophisticated scenario.
  • Force Talk - push this button to be heard immediately no matter if you reach the Sensitivity threshold or not

Sensor Mode

The Performer is fully controlled by Sensors. It can't be easier.

  • Ducking Amount - defines the currently applied amount (0-100%) of desired attenuation
  • Fade-out Time - transition time between 0 % and 100 % Ducking Amount
  • Fade-in Time - transition time between 100 % and 0 % Ducking Amount
  • Hold Time - keep the Ducking Amount value at 100 % while there is no speech
  • Target Attenuation - set the target attenuation applied on music track
  • Speech Frequencies Attenuation - set the attenuation of speech filter applied on your music track to enhance intelligibility of the voice-over
  • Control Bus - set the performer to listen to Sensor signals on up to two independent control busses

Automation Mode

Driven by your will - write Ducking Amount parameter automation curve directly to your DAW (in Sensor Mode), modify it or even redraw it from scratch. Then just let the SpeakUp Automation mode do its magic. Performer is only controlled by the Ducking Amount parameter value read from DAW, Sensor signals have no effect in this mode.

  • Ducking Amount - defines the currently applied amount (0-100%) of desired attenuation
  • Target Attenuation - set the target attenuation applied on music track
  • Speech Frequencies Attenuation - set the attenuation of speech filter applied on your music track to enhance intelligibility of the voice-over

Auto-Key

Vocal Processing by Antares

Images

Description

Auto-Key is an automatic key and scale detection plug-in, designed to enhance your Auto-Tune workflow and save valuable time in the studio.

Choosing the correct key and scale for your music is an essential part of effective pitch correction, and Auto-Key makes this quick and easy. It’s also useful for choosing samples and loops that match the key of your project.

Place Auto-Key on a track to analyze your music in real time, or upload an audio file for faster than real-time analysis. Auto-Key automatically detects and displays the key and scale of your music, as well as the tuning reference frequency. The onscreen keyboard also lights up to show detected pitches.

Click the “Send to Auto-Tune” button, and compatible versions of Auto-Tune are automatically updated with the correct key and scale settings.

Even if you already know the key and scale of your music, Auto-Key will streamline your workflow by allowing you to conveniently set the key and scale for multiple instances of Auto-Tune with a single click.

Key and Scale Detection

Auto-Key makes it quick and easy to find the key and scale of your music. Just place it on an instrument track or master bus and begin playback.

Auto-Key will analyze the audio in real time and display the key and scale after a few seconds of playback analysis. You can also upload an audio file to analyze an entire song in seconds.

In addition to key and scale, Auto-Key also tells you the reference frequency of your music. Most modern music is tuned so that A is equal to 440 Hz, but this is not always the case. If your music or samples are tuned to a different reference frequency, Auto-Key will show you what it is, so you can make the necessary adjustments when applying pitch correction or selecting samples.

VoxDoubler

Vocal Processing by Sonnox

Images

Description

VoxDoubler is presented as two separate Plug-Ins that focus on the two most common vocal doubling workflows.

Vocal performances lie at the very heart of a song. Doubling vocals is a really effective way of adding more contrast, drama and presence to the story of your song.

It’s therefore hard to imagine much of recorded popular music without the special quality that double-tracked vocals bring to a mix, either used over an entire track or just to help a chorus or key lyric connect with a listener.

Why VoxDoubler?

You want believable and natural sounding doubles but don’t have access to your vocalist, or the time required to:

  • Record extra takes in order to comp doubles
  • Transfer a lead take into an external editor, make copies of it and then manipulate the pitch and timing of them
  • Maybe you like the speed of using a classic stereo imager, chorus or harmonising effect, but aren’t so happy with the rather unnatural artefacts that can often occur?

Enter VoxDoubler. Bespoke designed to give you the best of these two approaches; ease of use, real-time processing and results that sound as lifelike as if the doubled parts were actually multi-tracked.

Saving you time, money and maintaining your creative flow.

Widen

Generates two new mono voices and pans them to the left and right of the original vocal.

Great for:

Widening a mono performance, ranging from subtle enhancement to a stack of hard-panned voices

Or why not try:

Manually processing the new doubled voices separately, then mixing them back in parallel with the original

Thicken

Generates a new stereo doubled voice and overlaps it with the original vocal.

Great for thickening a:

  • Mono performance, emulating the effect of singing the same part twice
  • Stereo group of voices by doubling each voice

Features

  • Generate believable double and triple vocal tracks to create width, depth or add thickness
  • Humanise section to adjust the Timing and Pitch of the doubles relative to the original vocal
  • Depth control to push the new doubled voices deeper into the mix
  • Tone control to prevent sibilant doubles from becoming distracting, or to brighten those that are too muddy
  • Track/Aux mode allows you to apply the effect in place or, for more advanced control, mix it in parallel on an aux return
  • A more cost-effective alternative, both in terms of initial outlay and speed of use, than more complex and manual processes
  • Engineered for vocals, but try it on instruments too!
  • Hallmark Sonnox audio precision, transparency and reliability

Vocal Splitter

Vocal Processing by W.A. Production

Images

Description

Clear & Wide

For decades, audio engineers have used a certain processing trick on vocals to help lacklustre mono vocals leap from stereo speakers. Now you can replicate that secret technique with one simple plugin. Vocal Splitter is a handy one-stop unit for turning mono vocals into thick, modern-sounding stereo. When W.A Production developed this plugin, they went one stage further, including frequency and drive parameters to help your vocal performances stand out from the crowd. Of course, you can also this plugin on audio other than vocals... download the demo and give it a try.

Under The Hood

Feel free to skip this part if you like, but here’s what is going on under the hood: Vocal Splitter uses a combination of a phase-offset vibrato effect (that splits the left and right channel by asymmetrically detuning the channels)  and an asymmetrical rectification of the left and right signal (creating a better defined stereo image). Combining these two effects in one plugin is an especially effective way to create a defined stereo split vocal signal with minimal phasing.

Mix

The central mix dial sets the dry / wet ratio of the original source signal and added stereo signal. If you want to listen to the added stereo signal in solo mode or use the plugin on an effects bus, just press the Mute Source button, muting the source signal so that you only hear Vocal Splitter’s processed audio.

Speed & Depth

These dials work together to control the behaviour of the phase-offset vibrato effect that splits the left and right channels. The channels are asymmetrically detuned and these dials adjust that effect so that you can achieve any intensity of processing, from subtle thickening to full-on doubling.

Drive

The drive feature lets you control the intensity of the asymmetrical rectification of the left and right signal, creating a better-defined stereo image. If that sounds technical, don’t worry. All you need to know is that pushed hard it provides a
saturation-like effect and brings the stereo image back in towards the centre.

Filters

The high pass and low pass filters allow you to filter the added stereo signal, especially important if you want the effect to only apply to a specific frequency range and avoid unwanted phasing in the low end.

The Vocal Splitter logo acts as a bypass control for the whole plugin and is smoothed to be click and pop free for unhindered A/B testing.

W. A. Production are real-life producers making creative plugins to help you achieve studio quality processing quickly and easily. Enjoy!

  • Create wide and modern vocals from a mono source

Vocal Compressor

Vocal Processing by W.A. Production

Images

Description

Smooth Talking

Capturing that perfect vocal take is difficult, but knowing how to process vocals can be even trickier. The first step in the chain is often compression, but with so many different types of compressors to choose from which is the perfect solution for your vocals? W.A Production have created Vocal Compressor to solve that problem, featuring a compression chain that’s transparent, balanced and adds a subtle flavour, colour and grit to make vocals sit perfectly in a mix.

The 3-stage compression passes your audio through 3 distinct types of compressors to tame troublesome peaks, balance dynamics and add flavourful saturation. Throw in gating & colour controls alongside options for parallel compression and you’ve got an all-in-one compression tool that suits vocals perfectly but will also work well on synths, bass, leads and other audio.

Peaks

The first step in the signal chain; the Peaks compressor removes amplitude spikes from the signal to make it sound smoother. It aggressively clamps down on the rogue dynamics of your vocal, preparing the signal for the next stage. You’ll only need to push down the threshold by a few dB to hear the effect in action and at it’s transparent best.

Balance

This is a parallel compressor that leaves loud transients intact whilst making the softer parts of your audio louder. This results in a reduction of overall dynamic range to make the vocal sit better in the mix. Use the Mix and Makeup dials to set the balance between the lightly compressed Peaks output and the heavily compressed Balance processing of the same signal. Don’t hold back on the gain reduction as this compressor needs a threshold of around 20dB to work. Keep pushing that threshold down until things sound good.

Flavour

This compressor has an integrated tape saturation curve to add harmonics, grit and flavour to the audio. Start subtly and then adjust the threshold until you can hear the bite of your vocal, so it clearly rides over the top of your track.

Gate & Colour

Remove unwanted and distracting pops, clicks and noise with the Gate dial. With the Colour slider, dial in a frequency curve that’s specifically tailored to vocal processing, making your vocal performance sound as professional as possible.

Bypass, Output & Master Mix

The bypass control is smoothed to be as click and pop free as possible for unhindered A/B testing when combined with the Output dial. Choose to mix the compressed signal with your original raw audio via the central Master Mix ratio control, allowing you to dial down the compression ratio for parallel effects.

Visual Feedback

The live visuals of the interface meters show exactly what’s happening to the signal as it travels through each compressor in real-time. This allows for accurate monitoring at every step of the chain.

Presets

With many included presets, it’s easy to find the perfect starting point for your own compression adventures. Categorised into distinct themes, these presets can be used on all sorts of audio, not just vocals. They include everything from subtle shaping to more full-on saturated compression effects.

W. A. Production are real-life producers making creative plugins to help you achieve studio quality processing quickly and easily. Enjoy!

Images

Description

The Ultimate Pitch & Timing Toolbox

Important Upgrade Note: This is a specific licence for existing owners of VocALign Pro 4. The full version of Revoice Pro 4 and following upgrades/crossgrades are also available:

Used worldwide by top music producers and audio professionals, Revoice Pro 4 features Syncro Arts' industry-standard audio alignment technology, an extensive suite of pitch adjustment tools and a premium doubler which combine to create a vocal, instrument and dialogue editing powerhouse.

With Revoice Pro, Synchro Arts offer a solution which delivers premium audio quality while being fast and easy to use, saving you hours of tedious editing time, ensuring the highest possible production values and helping to achieve your creative vision.

Key Features

  • APT - Clone the timing, pitch, vibrato and level features of one audio track and use it on another.
  • Warp - Manipulate the timing and pitch of your audio whilst maintaining the highest audio quality.
  • Doubler - Instantly create natural-sounding mono and stereo double tracks.

Music Production using Revoice Pro 4

  • Tighten the timing, pitch and vibrato of "stacked" lead and backing vocals or instrumental tracks.
  • Create one or more realistic double tracks from a single input track.
  • Manually adjust the pitch and timing of your tracks with an easy to use graphical interface.

Post Production using Revoice Pro 4

  • Lip-sync dialogue (ADR) and vocals by the same or different performers, even when there are noisy guide tracks.
  • Change the inflection in dialogue (ADR, voice-overs etc.) with the desired Guide pattern provided by recording the director or dialogue editor.

Audio Performance Transfer (APT) Process

The APT Process transfers user-selected timing, pitch and level characteristics of a good "Guide" audio signal to one or more audio signals - automatically.

At the heart of Revoice Pro is Syncro Arts' unique Audio Performance Transfer (APT) process, that allows the user to clone the timing, pitch, vibrato and level features of one audio track and use it on another, giving you the chance to match or correct timing, tuning and level.

Applications for the APT process include:

  • Vocal and instrumental double tracks: Tighten the timing, pitch and vibrato of “stacked” tracks while keeping them natural-sounding.
  • Dialogue replacement: Lip-sync dialogue (ADR) and vocals by the same or different performers, even when there are noisy guide tracks.
  • Transfer a performance: Change the inflection in dialogue (ADR, voice-overs etc.) with the desired pattern changes provided by recording the director or dialogue editor's voices.
  • Fix corrupted live vocal recordings: Replace and sync problematic vocals with clean retakes.

Description of the APT Processing

The user loads or transfers the Guide and Target (Dub) audio to be processed into the Revoice Pro program from DAWs or audio files. The Guide signal should have the "perfect" features: either timing, pitch or both.

However, if your Guide audio needs further time or pitch modifications, you can use Revoice Pro's new built-in Warp function to quickly and transparently adjust the Guide's (or lead harmony parts') timing and pitch.

In Revoice Pro, you can insert APT function blocks wherever you want them in dedicated "tracks" under each audio track that show where the processing starts and stops. You also chose the initial settings.

The APT process first determines the timing relationship between key features of the Guide and Target (Dub) audio signals using state-of-the-art pattern recognition algorithms based partly on Synchro Arts' VocALign technology.

User-selected Guide performance features are transferred to the Target audio to create a new Modified Target signal with the selected Guide features. Next, the APT process measures performance-related features (such as timing, pitch, vibrato and level) of both the "Guide" (which usually has certain preferred performance characteristics) and one or more Targets (Dub) signals.

The transfer process usually includes the timing alignment, so Guide features are incorporated at precisely the correct places along the Target. However, this is an option.

If satisfactory, the processed Dub(s) can be instantly transferred back to the DAW via a number of methods including Revoice Pro Link plug-ins, drag & drop or copy & paste.

Important Features of ATP

  • The "tightness" of the transferred feature can be controlled to allow natural acceptable differences to pass through unchanged.
  • Optional user-inserted "Protected Regions" allow selected sections of the Dub signals to be left unchanged in timing or pitch by the APT process.
  • The automatic APT processing can be followed by (or replaced by) manual editing of the output features.
  • APT Pitch (and other feature's) processing settings can be made time-varying (automated).
  • "Process-based" solo switching, via single keys, provides instant audition to compare inputs and outputs one or two signals at a time.
  • The effects of any changes made to APT control panel parameters will be immediately visible (after rendering) in the displayed output graphics of pitch, level and waveform traces.
  • Multiple Dub signals can use the same Guide and be efficiently processed at the same time.
  • A comprehensive Preset system allows saving and reusing settings.

Doubler

The Doubler - instantly create natural-sounding mono and stereo double tracks for voice and instruments or, crank the parameters for more extreme modulation style effects on your tracks. A great time-saving process often referred to as ‘the secret weapon’ in modern vocal production.

Applications for Doubler

  • Creating realistic double tracks from vocal or instrument recording when no double track is available.
  • Create a wide range of special modulation effects.

Process Details

  • Inputs can be mono or stereo signals.
  • Doubler automatically creates natural-sounding mono or stereo double tracks in seconds.
  • Provides controls for modifying timing variations, formants, and vibrato.
  • Supports extreme parameter variations to create special effects.
  • Comprehensive user Preset system.

Warp

Simple, fast adjustments with maximum quality- for voice and monophonic instruments.

In Revoice Pro 4, manual Pitch and Time Warping of audio are intuitive, making it easy to select and manipulate timing and pitch whilst providing the highest audio quality. The controls allow selection over any range and cursor tool changes to show what will move. Automatic snap to pitch option, plus play loops and undo functions make adjustments fast and easy.

Applications for Warp processes

  • Improving or altering the pitch and/or timing of tracks that are used as Guide tracks in APT or Doubler processes.
  • Correcting or altering the pitch of a harmony track before using it as a Dub input to an APT process that will have only its timing aligned to the Guide. The output of this APT process can then become a harmony Guide track for automatically aligning the time and pitch of double tracks of this harmony part.
  • Manually adjusting the pitch and time of a solo vocal or any voice recording.
  • If required, making minor adjustments to the features in the output of an APT process.
  • Modifying signal levels.

A powerful advantage of keeping time and pitch adjustments within Revoice Pro 4 is that any additional time and/or pitch changes to Guide or Input tracks will be passed automatically into the outputs of all processes using these inputs. This means that dependant audio tracks will always be in time and in sync instantly.

Warp Processing Details

There are now three new methods for manual Timing and Pitch Warping audio in Revoice Pro. However, the tools available in all of these are operated similarly.

The quick-access cursor tool's function changes simply by moving the cursor position around the note selection blocks. This way, pitch traces can be shifted, squeezed, tilted and even inverted instantly by dragging the note-box sides or corners. Time and level can be manipulated similarly and easily.

Moreover - there is a Correct Pitch function for a quick snap-to-grid process which will automatically adjust a large proportion of out-of-tune notes to more acceptable tunings. However, in any processing, the most important element is sound quality - which in Revoice Pro 4, remains natural and transparent for moderate changes.

For working with low or high pitched instruments or voices, the pitch processing ranges can be extended down to bass instrument ranges or up to flute ranges- to maintain the highest quality processing.

The Warp Region Process

  • Adjustments are made to a single audio region in the same track as the input audio Region and the adjusted output is heard replacing the input audio.
  • This is meant for making large and small corrections or creative changes to the timing and pitch of voice and monophonic instruments to create perfected lead, harmony, ADR or voice-over parts.

The Warp Process

  • Like the APT or Doubler, the Warp process can (from part of a region or even from multiple regions) and allow creative adjustments and corrections to be applied to the input audio. But in this case, the Warp Process results are sent to an Output track - i.e. not in the same track as the input audio.
  • The Warp process takes its input from any length of audio in one track, from part of one region to spanning multiple regions. The output of the Warp process is sent to a designated output track where the adjustments are made. The input track is left unchanged.
  • Revoice Pro 4 - Three Warp Points inserted and moved
  • Three Warp Points inserted and moved

Warp Points

  • Warp points can be used to time stretch the signal between two points.
  • Vibrato Warp Points allow you to time-stretch or compress signals containing vibrato without modifying the vibrato rate.
  • You can also use speed points to gradually change the rate of time stretch.

What's new in Revoice Pro 4?

With the release of Revoice Pro 4, Synchro Arts have continued to push the boundaries of what a vocal production tool can achieve, with better sounding and more musically pleasing automatic alignment and vocal vibrato adjustment, even faster workflow utilising the cutting edge ARA2 protocol and iLok Cloud based authorisation with no USB dongle. These along with the over 70 other new features and improvements mean Revoice Pro 4 truly is the ultimate toolbox for timing and pitch adjustment.

ARTICULATOR Digital Talk Box

Recreate the sound of classic talkbox effects.

Articulator is a modern digital version of the classic talk box, made famous on recordings by artists like Peter Frampton, Zapp, and Bon Jovi. Perfect for talking guitars, singing synths, and a wide range of special effects.

If you’ve ever seen a guitarist with a plastic tube in their mouth and a guitar that sounds like it’s talking, then you have a basic idea of what a talk box is. A physical talk box works by applying a filter (the human mouth) to an audio signal (usually a guitar or synth).

Articulator models this process by extracting the formant and amplitude information from a vocal track and applying it to another audio track or to its built-in noise generator in real time.

Articulator also features a built-in EQ, a formant modulation section, which lets you sculpt your vocal sound using our throat modeling technology, and an amplitude modulation control, which lets you dial in exactly how much of the effect you want on your track.

Learn more about ARTICULATOR.

WARM Tube Saturation Generator

Model the sound of vintage analog tube saturation

Nothing warms up a vocal track (or pretty much any track) like being recorded through a high quality analog tube preamp. And thanks to Warm, you can add this tube warmth to every track in your mix.

Warm offers the choice of two different tube models. Velvet tube gives you the subtle effects of classic tube saturation. While most often used for adding warmth to vocals, it sounds just as good on acoustic guitar, horns, strings, synth pads, or pretty much anything. Crunch tube gives you the deep, warm distortion of an overdriven tube amplifier. You can crank it up for an “industrial” vocal sound, or as an effect on guitar, bass, or synths.

Warm’s unique Omni Tube feature lets you apply tube saturation to the entire signal, instead of just the transients, as is typically the case with a tube preamp.

And since Warm is extremely DSP efficient, you can use it on an almost unlimited number of tracks simultaneously. Once you start using Warm, you’re going to want it on almost everything.

ASPIRE Aspiration Noise Processor

Perfectly control the breathiness from a vocal performance.

Aspire is the world’s first tool for modifying a voice’s breathiness independently of its harmonic content. With Aspire, you can match a vocal quality to a performance style by decreasing or increasing a voice’s natural breathiness.

Aspire analyzes a vocal in real time and separates the aspiration noise (breathiness) from the harmonic content. It then allows you to adjust the amount of aspiration noise, and affect its character independently by applying a parametric EQ to the noise component. It also includes a real-time display that lets you visualize the effect of the aspiration noise processing.

Whether reducing vocal rasp or adding a bit of smokiness, Aspire allows modification of the amount and quality of a voice’s breathiness—without affecting the vocal’s harmonic characteristics.

THROAT Physical Modeling Vocal Designer

Sculpt a singer’s vocal qualities with an adjustable model of the human vocal tract.

Throat is a revolutionary plug-in that lets you process your vocals through a meticulously crafted physical model of the human vocal tract, so you can literally design your own vocal sound.

Though designed to allow subtle modifications in vocal quality, the range of controls also allows for vocal tract models well beyond the limits of physical human anatomy, offering the possibility of vocal characteristics that are unattainable in the real world.

Throat’s controls allow you to modify the voice’s glottal waveform as well as globally stretch, shorten, widen or constrict the modeled vocal tract. For detailed control of the vocal sound, the graphical throat shaping display allows you to individually adjust the position and width of five points in the vocal tract model, from the vocal cords, through the throat, mouth, and lips.

DUO Vocal Modeling Auto-Doubler

The quickest, easiest way to create realistic vocal doubling.

Doubling is one of the best techniques for fattening up a lead vocal or giving it extra depth. And Duo is the easiest way to enhance vocals with a realistic doubled vocal part—automatically generated from your existing vocal.

In addition to programmable variation in pitch, timing and vibrato depth, Duo includes adjustable vocal timbre modeling, so you can create a doubled part that sounds like the same person as the lead vocalist—or like someone else entirely.

It also gives you independent control of the level and pan of the original and doubled voices, so you can craft the perfect stereo mix.

Just put Duo on your vocal track, and adjust the variation parameters and output controls to create exactly the doubling effect you’re looking for Instant doubling.

CHOIR Vocal Multiplier

Turn a single voice into up to 32 individual unison voices.

CHOIR is a unique vocal processor that turns a single monophonic voice into a lush choir of 4, 8, 16, or 32 distinct individual unison voices, each with its own pitch, timing and vibrato variations.

CHOIR accomplishes its magic with just a few simple controls. Choir Size allows you to select the number of individual voices that will be generated from the original voice. The Vibrato Variation, Pitch Variation, and Timing Variation controls allow you to control the amount of subtle variation applied to each of the generated voices. Finally, the Stereo Spread control lets you spread the voices across the stereo field.

CHOIR is the perfect tool for quickly and easily turning a single voice into a group of voices, each with its own unique character. When multiple instances of CHOIR are assigned to individual harmony parts, the result is an amazingly realistic large vocal ensemble.

Vocal Limiter

Vocal Processing by W.A. Production

Description

Lift Your Voice

For a vocal to really cut through the mix and ride other instruments, it’s usually a good idea to make sure it’s loud and proud. However, the dynamics of a vocalist’s performance can vary wildly, from softly sung verses to strident choruses. Despite a comprehensive vocal effects chain, with careful volume-riding and compression, you’ll often need a final limiter to clamp down on fluctuating dynamics or to smooth slower phrases.

W.A Production designed Vocal Limiter to be the last step in your vocal processing chain and as simple to use as possible. It’s specifically developed to target the frequencies of vocal performances so is less affected by overly high or low-frequency content. With multiple speed modes and real-time VU meters, you can use your eyes and ears to find the perfect settings… or just flick through the included presets. With Vocal Limiter you can be sure that your vocals will sit comfortably in the mix and be heard loud and clear.

Threshold

You’ll probably already be familiar with the normal functions of a limiter; set the threshold to clamp down on levels above a certain amplitude. How quickly a signal recovers after this is dictated by the Speed button.

4 Release Speed Modes

Use the central button at the bottom of the interface to toggle the auto-release of the limiter to 4-speed settings. Depending on the performance of your vocalist, each of these settings will give a different effect. Use a slow speed for smoother performances such as ballads and acoustic songs, and fast speed for quicker changes, perfect for vocal chops and raps. Medium speed is suitable for most other kinds of vocal but feel free to experiment and discover the best settings for your particular style. Ultra Slow speed has also been included as a bonus; useful for synth parts and other types of audio that require a more gentle, transparent release setting.

Input & Output

Adjust the Input and Output faders to balance vocals recorded at different volumes and dynamics. These parameters are also useful when used in conjunction with the click and pop-free bypass button, for accurate A/Bing in context.

Visual Feedback

The live VU meters of the interface show exactly what’s happening to your audio signal in real-time. This allows for accurate monitoring at every step of the chain.

Presets

It’s easy to adjust the parameters of Vocal Limiter and since this is such a simple plugin, finding the right settings is so fast. Nevertheless, W.A Production have bundled some of the most useful combinations of settings as factory presets, easily accessible via either the browser or the arrows to the left and right of the interface preset section. Just click these for quick access to curated presets.

  • If you create movies, podcasts, youtube videos, commercials, e-books or have any other special need to cultivate recorded speech, you need Voxessor. It covers all processes needed to treat the voice and works with incredible speed.

  • Sweep for the Ideal Character

  • To EQ human voice properly you have to set up several points. Ideal frequencies to tweak and their Qs differ according to the speaker's character. With Voxessor you may skip the search for these points. Simply sweep from the manliest to the girliest EQ setting and you are set up within a few seconds.

  • Intelligent Matching

  • As if the finest EQ sweep was not enough, you may combine this feature with Voxessor's Intelligent Matching. Engaging the learn button (Analyze your voice) for a few seconds will detect your speaker's voice character. The Match function will then EQ it to sound as close to the ideal voice as possible.

  • Automatic Volume

  • Voxessor automatically fixes volume imperfections caused by the speaker's performance to achieve a smooth and flawless voice-over flow. That comes especially handy when talking about long performances like documentaries and e-books.

  • Smart Dynamics

  • Voxessor's dynamic section contains a one-knob compressor and one-knob gate. Those are internally preset and tuned for dialogues and voice-overs. But their characters allow you to use Voxessor on vocals, too. And you may achieve unexpected results.

  • Tunable De-esser

  • Every voice is different and every speaker has sibilants on a slightly different frequency. Voxessor's de-esser lets you chose the right frequency band to work with maximum efficiency and to cause minimum damage to the original material.

  • Hassle-free Software Protection

  • No iLok, no dongle nor internet access is required for activation. This software uses licence files to activate your software. You can freely use the purchased software on all your computers as long as you are the user.

  • Automatic Gain Compensation

  • Automatic gain compensation quickly adapts to current settings and ensures the output sounds as loud as the input. This even protects you from thinking that something sounds better in cases it is just louder.

  • Realistic 3D yet Flexible GUI

  • Photorealistic graphic user interface of the plugin gives you the feeling you are touching the real hardware. But it easily adapts to your needs. You can always drag the arrow in the bottom right corner to change its size - make it smaller to save the valuable screen space, or enlarge it to make it easier to use.

  • 15-Days Unlimited Trial Version for FREE

  • All the descriptions are nothing comparing to putting hands on the plugin yourself. No saving limits. No noises. No boundaries. Engage the plugin in your project for real and fully exploit its powers for two weeks.

  • 64-bit Audio Quality at ANY Sampling Rate

  • The plugin provides the maximum audio quality you can get. It uses internal 64-bit audio processing and can handle any sampling rate. 192 kHz or even higher.

  • Smart Bypass

  • The intelligent way this plugin manages bypassing ensures that you don't get any click or harmful noises when automating the parameter. It also compensates for latency ensuring that the bypass states are perfectly in sync with each other.

  • Intelligent Sleep on Silence

  • This plugin intelligently detects whether it makes sense to perform processing at all. And if not, it temporarily turns on sleep mode. In such a state, it requires virtually no CPU at all saves the computing sources for other processes.

32C-VIP

Vocal Processing by Harrison Consoles

Images

Description

The Harrison 32C Vocal Intensity Processor (32C-VIP) is a vocal processing plugin that offers a quick and easy way to enhance the quality of vocals or spoken voice.  It can be used for editing audio recordings or for processing signals in real-time.

32C-VIP contains the following elements:

  • A Leveler for controlling the dynamic range of the audio signal
  • 32C High and Low-Pass Filters for cleaning up any unwanted frequencies
  • An RTA with pre and post filter displays for visualising the spectral characteristics of the processed signal
  • A K-12 Output Meter that displays the level of overall output and helps keep the signal within the target range.
  • A built-in limiter that prevents the output signal from clipping.

Processing Elements

Leveler

The Intensity knob controls the overall input level to the plugin. The Intensity level feeds the Leveler which is a compressor with a fixed -24 dB threshold and a very low ratio. Increasing the Intensity level will drive the Leveler harder and cause more compression to occur. The vertical meter to the right of the Intensity knob shows the level of gain reduction in dB. Use the K-12 Output Meter to determine the appropriate Intensity level to stay within the target range.

K-12 Output Meter

The K-12 Output Meter is a “VU-style” meter that shows the average level of the output signal with a -12 dB reference level. This means that the 0 marker on the meter equals -12 dBFS. It is set up this way because -12 dBFS is generally a good target level for podcasts and other forms of spoken voice media, so it’s a good idea to keep your average signal within the “green” zone below the 0 marker.

Filters

The High and Low-Pass Filters are based on the renowned Harrison 32C channel strip filters and can be used to shape the spectral characteristics of the processed signal. Use the HP Freq and LP Freq knobs to adjust the corner frequencies of the filters.

The BUMP button adds a subtle gain boost at the corner frequency of the HP Filter. This allows you to add a low-end boost at the selected frequency while filtering out the frequencies below it.

The BRIGHT button adds a high shelf boost to brighten up the high-end of the processed signal. Use the LP Filter in conjunction with this to tame any harsh high frequencies at the very top of the register.

RTA Display

The graph at the top of the plugin is the RTA Display which shows a visual representation of the spectral characteristics of the processed signal. Use the RTA IN button below the display to toggle the RTA on or off. When activated, the RTA shows the pre and post filter readings overlayed on top of each other. The pre-filter analyzer shows the signal before any spectral processing in dark grey while the post-filter analyzer shows the signal after spectral processing in a lighter grey colour.

Limiter

32C-VIP has a limiter built-in at the final output stage to prevent clipping. The limiter has a fixed threshold of -1.5 dB so the output signal will never exceed that level no matter how high the Intensity is set.

Routing Order

The internal routing order between elements is as follows:

1. Leveler

2. Pre-Filter Spectrum Analyzer

3. Filters

4. Post-Filter Spectrum Analyzer

5. Limiter

6. K-12 Output Meter

Images

Description

The Ultimate Pitch & Timing Toolbox

Important Upgrade Note: This is a specific licence for existing owners of VocALign Ultra.

UltraVox

Vocal Processing by Leapwing Audio

Description

An Intuitive and Great-Sounding Vocal Processor

Your New Go-To Vocal Processor

Leapwing is proud to announce its brand-new vocal processor: UltraVox.

A set-and-forget plugin that is designed for any songwriter, producer and engineer, wanting to achieve a great vocal sound quickly.

It comes with 4 unique algorithms, each optimized to work for any type of vocal:

Compression is meant to take out the peaks in vocal performance and balance out the vocal, achieving a consistent level without unwanted artefacts.

The gentle and very musical Gate has a dual purpose: one is to reduce room noise and the other is to reduce breathes and mouth sounds that are brought up by compression.

Harmonics gives a beautiful colouration to almost any vocal, and Air allows you to add crispiness to your vocal without introducing harshness.

  • Ideal Dynamics - Taming the peaks in a vocal as well as getting rid of any unwanted noises, the UltraVox dynamic control just sounds good!
  • Any Vocal - Highly optimized algorithms that influence each other, so they are ideal for any vocal!
  • Beautiful Design with Optimal Workflow - Beautiful Retina design with all controls on one screen.
  • Wide Compatibility - Available on Mac OSX (10.13 +), Windows 8, 10 (64-bit only) in AAX-Native, VST, VST3 and AU formats.

Your Vocal Sound in Seconds

Dynamic Control - Compression employs a single band soft-knee compressor with variable program-dependent (short) attack and (long) release times. The musical Gate aims to remove room or mouth noises, also with variable program-dependent (medium-long) attack and (short) release times.

Harmonics and Air - Harmonics give you primarily 2nd and 3rd order harmonics, that give a polished character to your vocal. Air employs equalization focused around 12kHz to give the vocal that shines, without introducing harshness. With its boost and cut capability, it’s useful to tonalize the vocal!

Quick and Intuitive Interface - It looks good and it sounds good because Leapwing Audio were thinking of you when they designed it.

UltraVox's algorithm makes it easy to get a good sound and the simple interface lets you visualise the adjustments you make as you hear them.

Applications

  • Recording - Production – Mixing
  • Ideal to put early-on in the vocal chain, possibly right after any corrective EQ and filtering, or right before adding any effects.

Features

  • 4 highly tuned algorithms that interact with each other, aimed at getting a quick vocal sound, these include:
  • Compression - Single-band soft-knee compression with variable programdependent (short) attack and (long) release times
  • Gate - Aimed to remove room noise, also with variable program-dependent (medium-long) attack and (short) release times
  • Harmonics - Primarily 2nd and 3rd order harmonics that give a polished character to the vocal.
  • Air - Equalization focused around 12kHz to give the vocal that shines, without introducing harshness. With its boost and cut capability, it’s useful to tonalize the vocal.
  • All algorithms are meticulously tuned with the highest quality achievable and pristine sound.
  • Beautiful re-sizable Retina interface with a unique level visualization.
  • Sample rates supported up to 384kHz (DXD).

SA-2 Dialog Processor Native

Vocal Processing by McDSP

Images

Description

Please Note: This product is the Native version. You can purchase the HD version HERE.

Dialog. The focal point of any movie, television show, documentary, or for that matter, any creative media production involving the spoken word. Add to the mix a sweeping musical score, dozens of foley effects, and plenty more – and it becomes clear the job of dialog mixing is a tall order. After all, if you can’t hear what the actors are saying, why watch it at all!

The SA-2 Dialog Processor is based on hardware originally conceived by Academy Award winning re-recording mixer Mike Minkler and used on over 100 major motion pictures. The SA-2 is designed to improve the overall sound of recorded speech. But the SA-2 is not just for dialog. It’s equally useful for vocals, and is a great tool for adjusting the timbre of any track, a reliable de-esser, and a fine multi-frequency compressor, in our completely biased opinion.

The SA-2 Dialog Processor is made up of 5 bands of strategic active equalization, configured in a variety of modes to best address common issues of dialog. Each band of active equalization has a threshold control to determine at what signal level the active equalizer begins to effect the signal. There are also enable buttons for each band to quickly audition the effect of any given band. Two mode selectors – one for controlling the ballistics of the active equalization, and a second for placing the five bands at strategic locations in the frequency spectrum. Finally, there are input and output gain controls for overall adjustment.

Features

  • Five independent bands of strategic active equalization
  • Multiple process modes for a variety of applications
  • Unique signal reduction metering
  • Double precision processing
  • Ultra low latency
  • Mono and stereo versions

Bitspeek

Vocal Processing by Sonic Charge

Images

Description

Sonic Charge Bitspeek is a real-time pitch-excited linear prediction codec effect. Right now you are probably thinking, "oh, another one of those"? Or perhaps not. Chances are that you have never heard about "linear prediction", although most of us use it daily when we talk on our cell phones. Linear prediction coding is a voice compression technology that appeared in commercial products in the seventies and was implemented in some well-known speaking toys of the early eighties.

We have applied this technology to create a VST / AU effect plug-in that analyzes audio, extracts a number of parameters (including pitch, volume and formant data) and then resynthesizes the audio using a simple oscillator, noise and filter architecture.

We have added a number of playback parameters that adjusts the pitch and tonal quality of the sound as well as support for MIDI and a beat-synchronized "formant freezing effect". Despite having only a few simple controls, this box can produce a broad range of sounds from cheap speaking toys to high-end vocoder and talkbox effects.

TNT Voice Executor

Vocal Processing by Audified

Images

Description

One-click voice track editing plug-in for speech and singing. Designed for music producers, podcasters, youtubers, audio books and voice-over artist, video makers and broadcasters.

Some situations do not give you enough time to play around with your compressors, EQs and other effects to achieve great sounding voice-over or vocal. The solution is Audified TNT Voice Executor all-in-one voice plug in, that helps to solve all the issues within a second.

Tomas Trkal

The owner of the TNT Recording and Postproduction Studios, Tomas Trkal, is a mixing engineer and a programmer in one person: In some situations and jobs you have to mix vocals or spoken word very quickly. Typically it is in broadcast operation or video production. We couldn't find any plug-in that would suit this purpose well. So I had to create it myself...

What It Does

TNT Voice Executor is a unique plug-in that offers quick and intuitive voice tracks editing. Despite the easy look, there are multiple effect modules inside the tool. The plug-in contains complete dynamics controls and EQ, drive and delay. The modules settings are pre-set by TNT Studios. The effect is controlled by three knobs only. After loading the preset you only set up the input and output volumes and the effect amount. And off you go.

The Presets and Controls

TNT Voice Executor takes in consideration various possible applications. No matter if you mix singing, rap or spoken word, the effects gives you quick and perfect results.

The presets in the first version are gathered in four groups. Each of them contains several variants for both male and female voices. All you have to do is to set the desired input and output volumes (using the I/O meters), choose the preset and tweak the amount of effect that will be applied. The right side of the plug-in shows, which effects are engaged and how much gain is being reduced. To keep the simplicity of use, no other controls (except advanced calibration in the service menu) are included.

Do You Need It?

Do you have a microphone and record voice? Then yes! TNT Voice Executor is the ideal companion for all those who need to tweak singing quickly, but it's priceless when it comes to audio books editing, v-log posts and YouTube videos, podcasts, advertisement voice-overs, trailers or news casts. Wherever voice sounds, the TNT Voice Exectutor is in place.

Mic Mod EFX

Vocal Processing by Antares

Description

Mic Mod EFX - Classic Microphone Modeler

Make the mics you own sound like the mics you wish you owned.

Mic Mod is the microphone modeling tool that makes the mics you own sound like the mics you wish you owned.

Instantly expand your mic locker with models of vintage mics from Neumann, AKG, and others, plus a wide selection of modern boutique mics. Mic Mod includes precise digital models of over 100 legendary microphones. Just tell it what mic you’re using and what mic you want it to sound like.

Mic Mod not only reproduces all of the subtle sonic characteristics that make each microphone unique, it also gives you control of each mic’s specific options. Does the mic have a low cut filter? If so, it’s in the model. Close or far placement? Just dial in the proximity control. Each option results in the same sonic effect that it would have with the actual mic. For that final touch of perfection, you can even add some tube saturation.

Mic Mod gives you a huge virtual microphone collection that you can use for recording, mixing, and even in live performance to get the sound of mics you would never consider using on stage. It’s also a great tool for broadcast and podcasting applications.

Features

  • Source Mic and Modeled Mic

  • Simply select the mic you're using (or used during your original recording) and the mic you want it to sound like.
  • Proximity Effect is a bass boost that results from placing a directional mic in close proximity to a signal source (e.g., a singer's lips). With Mic Mod EFX's Proximity controls, you can actually create the effects of different mic distances based on the specific physical properties of each individual modeled mic.
  • Low Cut Filter

  • If your source mic has a low cut filter, enter its setting in the Source Mic Low Cut menu. If your selected modeled mic has a low cut filter, you can model the effects of any of its settings with the Modeled Mic Low Cut menu.
  • Pickup Pattern

  • If your source mic has variable pickup patterns, enter the selected pattern in the Source Mic Pattern menu. If your selected modeled mic has variable pickup patterns, you can experiment with the effects of any of its patterns with the Modeled Mic Pattern menu.
  • Tube Saturation

  • Based on the same technology as Antares' famed WARM Tube Saturation Generator, the Tube Saturation control lets you give your track the warmth of a high-quality tube pre-amp.
  • Mic Mod EFX is available as a plug-in for RTAS (Mac & PC), VST (Mac & PC) and Audio Units. At a fraction of the cost of even a modestly lust-worthy mic.

  • Modeled Microphones

  • The following is the list of the models that are included with Mic Mod EFX.

VoxBox

Vocal Processing by SoundSpot

Description

Thicken Your Lead Vocals in a Simple and Intuitive Way

Lead vocals are often the most important element in a mix. To get lead vocals to jump out of a mix and not get buried in the music, a technique called ‘vocal thickening’ is used widely throughout the industry. Usually this technique requires multiple channels and plug-ins to achieve the desired results. When designing VoxBox however, our aim was to create a plug-in that simplifies the vocal thickening process, without compromising on quality. VoxBox helps you widen and thicken your lead vocals in a simple and intuitive way, while being light on your CPU and keeping your mixing chain simple.

Features

  • Fast and intuitive workflow
  • Advanced vocal stem separation algorithm
  • Preserves transients
  • Extremely light on CPU and RAM

Monophonic Voice Manipulator

Vocal formant and pitch shifting. Hard Tune FX. Robot/Vocoder Mode. Tube Drive.

Little AlterBoy is Soundtoys’ exciting new tool for dramatic voice alteration. Get a huge range of vocal transformations from one simple plug-in. Change the pitch of a voice, or change the singer’s gender with formant shifting. Lock onto a single pitch for robotic sounds. You can even control the vocal’s melody using MIDI for creative vocoder-like effects.

Get Altered!

Want that overly popular pitch-quantized hard-tune effect? Yep, Little AlterBoy has you covered. Plus, we’ve included one of our classic tube saturation models from Decapitator to add warmth and edge to your new vocal creation.

Control Your Creation

Once you’ve crafted your perfect vocal effect signature, you can use MIDI in your DAW to control the pitch for dramatic vocoder or harmony effects. It’s a hugely powerful way to find new directions and drive new ideas.

History in the Re-Making

Our roots are in pitch-shifting. Our founders were part of the team that created the Eventide H3000, one of the most iconic pitch-shifters of all time. They went on to start a company called Wave Mechanics (soon to be called Soundtoys), which created the first real-time pitch and formant shifter: PurePitch TDM. Back in the ProTools TDM years, SoundToys also produced other high-quality pitch-based effects including the acclaimed PitchDoctor and SoundBlender.

With Little AlterBoy, we’ve distilled all of that knowledge to create a potent little vocal tool. We wanted to give you a wide range of the most popular vocal effects of the day, and give you the freedom to create your own signature sounds, too.

Features

  • Transform vocals with a set of easy-to-use tools in one simple plug-in
  • Shift the pitch and formant (gender) of vocals in real-time
  • Use the mix control to create instant vocal harmonies
  • Lock vocals to a pitch for robot effects
  • Create vocoder-like effects using MIDI control
  • Get that “hard tune” effect heard in countless hip-hop and pop hits

MUnison

Vocal Processing by MeldaProduction

Images

Description

MUnison is a unique combination of doubler/unison and smart harmonizer. It lets your vocals sound like an orchestra with automatically scaled harmonies, produces classic double-tracking effect and much more...

Up to 50 Virtual Voices

MUnison takes your audio, analyzes it, detects its pitch if needed and generates other voices. These can play the same pitch as the original and just fluctuate around it to get the realistic unison effect. Or they can play harmonies, following the scale you choose, useful even for live performances actually. Or they can sound very different, creating a whole orchestra of people singing/playing with whatever you want.

Modulation Heaven

The plugin sounds very "live" already, but if you want to introduce some additional creative changes, the plugin provides plenty. MUnison lets you modulate any parameter from sources such as an LFO, audio level follower, envelope generator, randomizer, or pitch detector. Your sound will never be static again.

ASPIRE

Vocal Processing by Antares

Images

Description

ASPIRE - Aspiration Noise Processor

Key Features:

  • The ability to match a vocal quality to a performance style by decreasing or increasing a voice's natural breathiness.
  • A band of parametric EQ to modify the quality of the aspiration noise component of the vocal.
  • A real-time display that lets you visualize the effect of the aspiration noise processing.

AVA Vocal Flow

Vocal Processing by Harrison Consoles

Images

Description

AVA Vocal Flow

AVA Vocal Flow is an all-in-one signal processing suite for mixing vocals in music. It contains 7 routable signal processing elements along with input and output controls.

The elements included are:

  • Vocal Character - A unique 2-band vocal EQ designed to “follow” the pitch of the vocal notes.
  • 32c Channel EQ - A 4-band EQ complete with High & Low Filters. Directly based on the Harrison 32c consoles highly sought after channel EQ.
  • De-Esser - A specialized Compressor for removing sibilance in vocals or speech. Based on the X-Tool DSP found in Harrison MPC digital consoles.
  • Leveler - A handy Compressor derived from the Harrison Mixbus channel strip DSP.
  • Vocal Effects - Chorus, Delay, and Reverb for livening up vocal recordings.
  • Master Section - Includes controls for Routing,  Polarity, Input and Output Trim.

Module Controls

Each of the 7 processing sections (referred to as Modules) has its own output trim control and can be individually reset, soloed, or bypassed.

  • The RESET button resets all of a module’s parameters to their default states (with the exception of RTA controls).
  • The SOLO button bypasses all processing outside of the module being soloed. This allows individual modules to be auditioned exclusively without any other processing. Note that soloing a module will maintain the gain structure set by the Output Trims of the other elements.
  • The IN button toggles the enablement of each module. If disabled, a module’s processing is bypassed and its effects will not be heard.

The vertical slider to the right of each module controls the module’s Output Gain Trim for adjusting the Gain staging between elements. It has a range of -20dB to +20dB.

Note: Because they are processed in parallel, the Delay and Reverb modules do not have Output Gain Trims like all the other sections. Instead, they have Level faders for blending the effects signals with the main signal path.

Vocal Character

The Vocal Character is a one-of-a-kind vocal EQ that “follows” the pitch of the notes sung in a recorded vocal track and shifts the EQ curve accordingly along the frequency spectrum. This allows you to alter the actual character of vocals by adjusting the body and clarity of each note.

Important Note: The Vocal Character element tracks pitches on a chromatic scale, and it will not work on the spoken voice.  You should disable this element when using the VC on spoken voice.

The Vocal Character consists of an EQ graph with 2 band control sections below it, labelled Body and Clarity. The Body section contains controls for the lower band (labelled “B” on the graph) and the Clarity section controls the high band (labelled “C” on the graph).

Both bands have adjustable Frequency, Gain, Shape, and Q parameters, as well as buttons for toggling their enablement individually. The graph is used to control a band’s frequency and gain while the controls for enablement, shape and Q can be found in the control sections below the graph.

De-Esser

This module contains a simple and intuitive implementation of Harrison’s renowned De-Esser algorithm. It is primarily used to attenuate harsh frequencies caused by sibilance in speech and vocals.

The two circular markers on the graph display, labelled “S” and “H”, are the controls for the Ess and Hi bands (S = Ess, H = Hi). These controls can be dragged horizontally or vertically to set the Bandwidth and Depth of their respective bands.

A band’s horizontal range or Bandwidth determines the range of frequencies subject to attenuation within that band. The low cutoff Frequency for the Ess band has a range of 1 kHz to 8 kHz, while the Hi band control has a range of 2 kHz to 12 kHz for taming any additional frequencies above that.

The vertical Depth of a band sets the maximum Gain reduction in dB that can be applied to the frequencies in its Bandwidth. A lower Depth means greater possible attenuation. Both bands have a maximum Depth value of -12 dB and can go up to 0 dB, where no attenuation occurs.

Clicking and dragging in the open portion of the graph (rather than on a specific band control) allows you to control both bands simultaneously. This is useful for adjusting the Frequency or Depth of the bands without altering the Bandwidth.

Leveler

The Leveler is a unique compressor derived from the Harrison Mixbus channel strip. It includes controls for Threshold and Attack while the module’s Output Trim can be used to add make-up gain if needed. Input level and gain reduction meters are also provided to help visualize the operation of the Leveler. The Leveler has a low ratio and a fast release.

The Input Meter displays the level of input signal coming into the Leveler. The slider attached to the meter controls the compressor’s Threshold level.

Directly below the Input Meter is the Reduction Meter, which shows how much gain reduction is being applied to the signal.

The Attack knob sets the Attack time of the compressor, ranging from 4 ms to 100 ms. This parameter can be controlled by adjusting the knob or by typing values directly into the label to the right of it.

You can use the Leveler module’s Output Trim slider on the right to apply make-up gain as needed.

32C Channel EQ

Modelled after the famed Harrison 32C Channel EQ, the Equalizer element offers 4 bands with variable frequency and gain along with 2 versatile filters.

EQ Bands

The 4 EQ bands can be toggled in or out using the EQ IN button just above the LOW band controls.

Each of the 4 bands has variable gain and frequency parameters. Each gain control has a range of -12dB to +12dB. The band frequency ranges are as follows:

  • LOW - 40Hz - 600Hz
  • LO MID - 200Hz - 3.1kHz
  • HI MID - 400Hz - 6kHz
  • HIGH - 900Hz - 13kHz

EQ Filters

The High and Low Pass Filters can be toggled in and out using the Filters IN button in the top-left corner above the Filter controls.

Both filters have a 12dB/octave slope. The High-Pass Filter has a frequency range of 20Hz - 3.15kHz and the Low-Pass Filter has a frequency range of 160Hz - 18kHz.

Chorus

The Chorus module is based on the Harrison XT-MG Micro Glide plugin and can be a useful tool for adding width and depth to a vocal recording.

The Chorus effect adds 2 pitch-shifted voices: one above and one below the input signal.

  • Detune controls the amount in which the 2 voices are pitch-shifted up and down from the original signal (measured in cents).
  • Delay adjusts the delay offset from the original signal in milliseconds.
  • Mix sets the percentage of wet signal that gets blended with the dry signal.

Delay

The Delay module is specifically designed for adding slapback delay to vocals.

Unlike the other modules, the Delay and Reverb effects are processed in parallel with the main signal path, so they are set to always return at the end of the signal chain to be blended with the main signal path. This routing is meant to emulate the traditional method of using effects sends/returns on an aux track in a DAW.

Because it’s in parallel, the Delay module does not have a standard Output Trim slider like the other modules. Instead, it has a level control fader with a minimum value of -inf for setting the effect level that gets blended in with the main signal.

In addition to the Output Level, there are 4 controls for shaping the delay on vocals: Delay Time, Feedback, Low-Pass Frequency (LPF), and High-Pass Frequency (HPF).

  • Delay Time sets the amount in milliseconds that the wet signal is delayed from the original dry signal. This control is capable of setting short delay times up to 250 ms.
  • Feedback sets the percentage of signal that gets fed back into the delay and can be used to set the amount of delay repetitions. Note that setting the Feedback to 100% will cause the delay to enter an endless loop of repetitions that can only be stopped by bringing the Feedback down below 100%.
  • LPF and HPF set the cutoff frequencies for the low and high-pass filters which are applied to the delayed signal.

Reverb

The Reverb module is useful in altering the spatial characteristics of vocals.

Like the Delay, the Reverb is processed in parallel with the main signal path. The position of the REVERB SEND routing item determines the point along the signal chain in which the signal is sent to the Reverb effect, which always returns at the end of the signal chain to be blended with the main signal path.

Because it’s in parallel, the Reverb module does not have a standard Output Trim slider like the other modules. Instead, it has a level control fader with a minimum value of -inf for setting the effect level that gets blended in with the main signal.

In addition to the Output Level, there are 4 controls for shaping the reverb on vocals: Room Size, Damping, Low-Pass Frequency (LPF), and High-Pass Frequency (HPF).

  • Room Size controls the size of the simulated space for reverberations and essentially dictates the decay time (larger Room Size = longer decay time).
  • Damping controls the damping properties of the surfaces being reflected off of, which affects the presence of high frequencies in the reverb tail. More damping will decrease high-frequency reverberations to create a warmer reverb sound while less damping will increase high-frequency reverberations for a brighter sound.
  • LPF and HPF set the cutoff frequencies for the low and high-pass filters which are applied to the reverb signal.

Master Controls (Input, Output & Routing)

The Input, Output, and Routing sections at the bottom of the plugin window contain the plugin’s master controls for routing the order of elements, adjusting input/output trim, and inverting polarity. The master controls are laid out in the order of their signal flow from left to right, which is as follows:

  1. Master Input Trim
  2. Polarity Switch
  3. Element Routing
  4. Master Output Trim
  5. Input, Output & Polarity

The very first element in the signal chain is the Master Input Trim slider, which adjusts the gain trim of the input signal before it reaches any of the other elements. Next in line is the Invert Polarity button, used to flip the polarity of the input signal. Following the Polarity switch are the element routing items, which will be detailed further in the next section. The very last element in the signal chain is the Master Output Trim, which adjusts the gain trim of the final output signal after it has been processed by everything.

Additional Features

At the top-right corner of the plugin window are the Momentary Byass and Settings buttons.

  • Momentary Bypass - The Momentary Bypass button bypasses the plugin for as long as it's held. This is useful for auditioning A/B comparisons quickly.
  • Settings - The Settings button reveals a pop-up menu where the window size and theme can be adjusted. It also contains a link to the plugin manual and version info at the bottom.

  • Settings based on the analysis of thousands of world-class records
  • Time-saver: No need to use many plug-ins
  • Intelligent gain staging
  • Tone Hunting

  • As producers and mixing engineers we face daily challenges to make things sound more energetic, more full of life. For every artist, this could mean completely the opposite. Our role is to grasp an artist's vision and make it real through all kinds of sound-shaping methods. We are the Tone Hunters!

  • The great sounding vocal is one of the most important things in today’s music production. It is often the key to success in almost every style of music. In particular, the lead vocal track is usually the main guide for the listener throughout the song. There are tons of different approaches and aesthetics of vocal production from which to choose, but they share some similarities as well.

  • Mixing Vocals

  • Many steps of getting the right vocal mix are based on the same acoustic principles. Whether you mix an old school swing or the latest pop sensation, you will most probably need to use some equalization and compression, plus some kind of ambiance. Depending on the genre, this could mean anything from subtle up to very heavy sound processing.

  • With the ToneSpot Voice Pro, you have all the tools to mix your vocals from the beginning to the end included in only one plug-in.

  • The ToneSpot Voice Pro is suitable for mixing any kind of vocal track from lush singing up to a heavy screaming and anything in between. Backing vocals, vocal layers, and harmonies will blend like never before. And you can use it to mix a spoken word too.

  • Standard Vocal Mix Chains

  • Vocal chains can get complicated pretty quickly. Especially in today’s musical environment when everything is supposed to sound big, full and present.

  • In other words, you need a lot of CPU power at your disposal. There is no need for this.

  • Tonespot Solution

  • There is a more effective solution. With the ToneSpot technology, you can minimize the number of plug-ins you use, while maintaining the highest sound quality possible.

  • Let your DAW breathe and save your CPU for the creative and fun part of mixing we all love.

  • Meet the ToneSpot Voice Pro

  • The ToneSpot Voice pro consists of ten powerful modules plus the input and output sections. They represent the usual vocal mix workflow and the signal is fed through them in series from left to right. Each module can be turned ON and OFF separately.

  • Character - Determines the basic flavour of the sound and reprograms many of the following sections.
  • Distortion - Real valve distortion circuit based on a vintage guitar amp, perfect for i.e. extreme voice techniques.
  • Saturation - An advanced model of a real valve saturation circuit that has a nice higher harmonics punch.
  • DeEssAir - Get rid of unwanted sibilance in your voice and add some air back at the same time.
  • Shaping - Shape your tone with the 8-band musically labelled EQ.
  • Punch - Punch is quite a strong compressor with slower attack time and a medium compression ratio.
  • Surgery - An extreme surgical peak EQ with 2 identical filters and up to -50 dB attenuation.
  • Smash - A peak-eating levelling compressor with faster attack time and a gentle compression ratio.
  • Effects - The two most important time-based effects for the vocal processing job - delay and reverb.
  • Finalizer - This is the mastering section of your chain. Sometimes the voice needs a final touch, some sweetness or fatness.
  • AGC - An automatic gain control included in both input and output sections. It sets the signal level to the plug-in’s 0 dBVU.
  • What Matters? Music or Sound?

  • Great musical ideas need great sound. The music industry has changed over the years. The quality of sound and sound aesthetics can often determine the success of the music. A great mix can help the great song to grow and to be truly larger than life. And let's be honest, we all have that one epic song that brought us to listening to music in the first place.

  • You have the ideas, we have the tool, so…

  • Let's get inspired together and make even better music from now on!

Revoice Pro 4 Licence for VocALign Project 3 or 5 Owners

Vocal Processing by Synchro Arts

Images

Description

The Ultimate Pitch & Timing Toolbox

Important Upgrade Note: This is a specific licence for existing owners of VocALign Project 3 or VocAlign Project 5.

MCharacter

Vocal Processing by MeldaProduction

Images

Description

MCharacter is a unique tool, that lets you directly control the harmonics of any monophonic audio material. It can be used on vocals, bass, trumpet, saxophone... It opens a range of mixing and creative possibilities.

Direct access to the instrument's harmonics

Most audio instruments have a distinctive character defined by harmonics and formants. While formants are pretty much static in spectrum, so you can change them directly with equalizer, harmonics are more problematic, because they follow the pitch. MCharacter lets you control the levels of first 32 harmonics in a very simple and effective way. By working directly in spectrum domain the plugin's ability to detect pitch is outstanding and the changes are instant, which makes it outperform traditional equalizers in just about every way..

Powerful synthesis

What happens if some harmonics are not there at all? Or if you want to generate a sub-octave for example? Well, before it was pretty much impossible, but MCharacter makes this very simple. It lets you synthesize harmonics & tones that are not there using 2 simple graphs. Just say how much you want!

Modulation heaven

Looking for a little extra variation in your sound? Look no further than our extensive modulation options. Modulate any parameter from sources such as an LFO, audio level follower, envelope generator, randomizer, or pitch detector. Your sound will never be static again.

MeldaProduction goodies

Like always you'll find the standard MeldaProduction features: M/S, surround support as well as other channel modes, A-H presets for easy comparisons, and our easy to use integrated help system.

The most advanced user interface on the market - stylable, resizable, GPU accelerated

  • Modern user interfaces must not only be easy and quick to use, but also versatile and the whole visual appearance should inspire you. MCharacter features the most advanced GUI engine on the market. It is still the first and only GUI engine, which is freely resizable and stylable. It also lets you choose between knobs, sliders or buttons, whichever you like the most.
  • The plugin can look as an ancient vintage gear, if you are working on old-school rock music. Or as super-modern futuristic device if you are working on modern electronic music.
  • If your display doesn't have a high resolution, you can make the plugin smaller. If the fonts are too small, you can make the plugin bigger and save your eyes.
  • All the graphics is accelerated using your GPU, graphical interface, providing ultimately quick response and keep your CPU focused on the audio.

Unique visualisation engine with classic meters and time graphs

  • Your ears should always be the main judge, but a smart metering system can often be a huge help. MCharacter provides the most advanced metering system out there. The plugin can display the measurements of all relevant values using classic meters, or it can even show them in time using the time graphs. Everything is customisable as usual.

4 exceptionally versatile modulators

  • MCharacter provides 4 fully-featured modulators which can control any set of parameters including other modulators. Each modulator works as an LFO, level follower, midi/audio triggered ADSR enveloper, randomizer or pitch detector, or even a combination and can listen to the plugin\'s side-chain.
  • You can make the sound move in time, be less static and more interesting. You can make various parameters depend on the input (or the sidechain) level or even listen to the input pitch.

Adjustable oscillator shape technology

  • Every oscillator in MCharacter uses the most versatile oscillator algorithm on the market. It provides mix of predefined oscillator shapes, custom waveforms edited using our MeldaProduction Envelope System (MES), a step-sequencer and several methods for algorithmic postprocessing.
  • It also provides a harmonic mode, which lets you control the harmonic content instead of oscillator shape. This is especially useful for high frequency oscillators.

4 multiparameters

  • MCharacter lets you control multiple parameters using a single so-called multiparameter. This may not only come handy for automation for example, but the multiparameters are very smart units and you can use them to smartly morph between banks of settings for example. All in the name of creativity!

M/S, single channel, up to 8 channels surround processing...

  • MCharacter can handle not only mono and stereo signals, but also mid/side encoding for stereo field processing, separate left & right channels, separate mid or side signal and up to 8 channels of surround audio. It is perfect for audio production for music, movies, games...

Smart randomization

  • Being creative is sometimes complicated and one often needs an inspiration. By clicking a single button you can walk through the billions of possible settings and find the best one for you. The smart randomization algorithm wisely selects good sounding combinations of parameters. It can even randomize modulators for you. And if that\'s too much, you can just hold ctrl and MCharacter will just slightly modify existing settings.

Automatic gain compensation (AGC)

  • Most plugins change loudness of the output audio, which makes browsing presets inconvenient, not mentioning randomization. MCharacter includes automatic gain compensation, which quickly adapts to current settings and ensures the output sounds as loud as the input. This even protects you from thinking that something sounds better in cases it is just louder.

Safety limiter

  • Some plugins can intensely increase gain when exposed to specific audio materials. MCharacter provides a safety brickwall limiter, which ensures the output stays below 0dB and prevents your equipment and your ears from potential danger automatically.

MIDI controllers with MIDI learn

  • MCharacter contains a powerful MIDI processor, which listen to MIDI controllers and MIDI keyboard and control any parameters realtime.

64-bit processing and an unlimited sampling rate

  • MCharacter provides the maximum audio quality you can get. It uses 64-bit audio processing and can handle any sampling rate. It does not make much sense to go over 192kHz, but if you think it is a good idea, the plugin can do that.

Extremely fast, optimized for newest AVX capable processors

  • Computers are now extremely fast, but the algorithms are more complex and projects bigger, so we still need to use the processing power with care. MCharacter uses the fastest algorithms, takes advantage of the newest processor capabilities, lets your GPU hangle the graphics, and shares the resources with other MeldaProduction plugins. The plugin is among the fastest on the market, yet it provides the best possible audio quality.

Global preset management and online preset exchange

  • MCharacter presets are carefully stored in a system database and you can quickly access then from any project in any host. The plugin can automatically share your presets and download presets of other users from our servers. We are building a community and you can be a part of it!

Supports VST, VST3, AU and AAX interfaces on Windows & Mac, both 32-bit and 64-bit

  • MCharacter supports all major hosts on both platforms. Check system requirements for information about compatibility and installation.

No dongle nor internet access is required for activation

  • How many times did you forget your USB dongle? We are an honest company and expect the same from our customers. Our software uses licence files to activate your software. And the licences are to-person, so you can use it on all your computers as long as you are the user.

Free-for-life updates

  • When you buy the software you are entitled to free updates, forever. No more money wasted on major upgrades like it is with other companies. And we upgrade our software a lot!

  • Loop and reverse playback mode. Playback speed selector. Amplitude envelope designer. Pitch-shifting. Crossfader. Samples folder integration.  Drag & drop for faster user experience.

  • Plugin Morphing

  • Load any VST/AU instrument to be convolved by the input signal. Choose either a synthesizer or a sampler as the convolution carrier signal.

  • Auto Key mode allows playing the selected virtual instrument without the need of using a midi keyboard.

  • Process input signal through 2 spectral pitch-shifting sections at same time.

  • Frequency Range section allows splitting input signal in 2 bands, the inner band containing the selecte audio frequency range and the outer band containing the frequency range above and below the inne frequency range.  Both bands can be pitch shifted independently.

  • Amplitude Range section allows selecting an audio frequency range depending the amplitude level

  • range selected, from low to high amplitude level. This selected range will be pitch-shifted; the rest of the audio will be ignored. There are 2 range selectors available.

  • Dpitch:

  • Process input signal through 2 different pitch-shifting sections at same time.Delay Pitch Shifter section creates delay loops of the incoming audio signal. Each loop introduces a selected amount of pitch-shifting in comparison with the previous loop. Feedback loop can be also processed by a HPF, LPF or a Peak filter. Changing the delay feedback level you can control the amount of loops generated; affecting the decay of the sound and creating interesting pitch-shifting & filtering changing effects.

  • Dynamic Time-based Pitch Shifter section allows changing the pitch of the incoming audio signal continuously as far as input is detected, like a never-end pitch-shifting. Increasing or decreasing the pitch as fast/slow as you want.

  • Process the input signal through to 2 single side-band ring modulators.

  • Process audio input through 2 VST/AU plugins. Serial and parallel plugin processing modes. Plugins audio output cross-morphing available in parallel mode.

Auto-Tune Pro

Auto-Tune_Pro_Automatic_Advanced-Plugin-Boutique

The Professional Standard

For twenty years, Auto-Tune has been the world standard for professional pitch correction (and more recently, time correction), and the tool of choice for the signature vocal effect of modern popular music. Today, it’s used daily by thousands of audio professionals around the world to save studio and editing time, ease the frustration of endless retakes, save that otherwise once-in-a-lifetime performance, or to create what has become the signature vocal effect of modern popular music.

Freedom of Expression

Auto-Tune Pro offers the transparent, natural sounding, and pristine pitch and time correction required for professional quality audio production, as well as the classic effects that have become a staple of popular music.

Use our Flex-Tune and Humanize technologies to bring a vocal performance perfectly into tune without sacrificing the expressive gestures and natural variations that give it its character and authenticity, or crank the Retune Speed for a dramatic Auto-Tune Effect.

The powerful Time Correction features in Graph Mode allow you to quickly touch up the timing errors in an otherwise perfect performance, or creatively rework the timing of your track without having to re-record it.

Our Low Latency Mode lets you perform through Auto-Tune in real time on stage or in the studio, without worrying about distracting delay.

Whether you’re in need of natural sounding pitch correction, versatile and transparent time correction, or classic effects, Auto-Tune Pro is the tool you’re looking for.

New Auto-Tune Pro Features

A New, Streamlined User Interface

Auto-Tune Pro features a sleek, all-new interface in both Auto Mode and Graph Mode, redesigned for ease of use and efficient workflow.

Auto Mode now includes two unique screen views: Basic View which gives you quick and easy access to the core features of Auto Mode, and Advanced View which unlocks the powerful MIDI, scale editing and vibrato features.

The Graph Mode interface has be redesigned from the ground up. In addition to a much larger Main Graph, the new Graph Mode features greater zoom resolution, user assignable zoom presets, and controls reconfigured to optimize workflow efficiency.

Classic Mode

Classic Mode is the much-requested return of the celebrated “Auto-Tune 5 sound.”

As we’ve added new features to Auto-Tune (such as Formant Correction, Throat Modeling, and Flex-Tune) the Auto-Tune algorithm has evolved, and its sonic qualities have undergone subtle changes, with each Auto-Tune version having its own slightly different character.

Over the years, the sound of Auto-Tune 5 has developed something of a cult following among musicians, audio engineers and producers, perhaps due in part to its use on many iconic pop recordings. Due to popular demand, we’ve made the Auto-Tune 5 sound available in Auto-Tune Pro via the new Classic Mode.

Auto-Key: Automatic Key and Scale Detection

Auto-Key is a brand new plug-in, included with your Auto-Tune Pro purchase, which automatically detects the key and scale of your music and sends that information to one or more instances of Auto-Tune Pro. If you already know the key and scale of your tracks, you may also find Auto-Key useful for simultaneously setting the Key and Scale parameters of multiple instances of Auto-Tune Pro from a single location.

ARA: Audio Random Access

Auto-Tune Pro now supports ARA (Audio Random Access.) ARA is a technology that allows for closer integration and exchange of information between audio plugins and host applications (digital audio workstations). When used with ARA-compatible DAWs such as Studio One and Mixcraft, it’s now possible to edit in Auto-Tune Pro’s Graph Mode without first playing through the selection to track the audio into Auto-Tune.

MIDI Parameter Control

Many of Auto-Tune Pro’s key parameters can now be controlled in real time with a MIDI controller, including Retune Speed, Flex-Tune, Humanize, Throat Length and all of the Vibrato functions. Assign the parameters to the controls on your MIDI device, and perform dramatic effects in real time on stage or in the studio.

Tame vocal sibilance quickly and easily.

Sybil is designed to tame excessive vocal sibilance (ess, tsss, ch, and sh sounds), with a flexible compressor and a variable-frequency high pass filter to ensure optimum de-essing for any vocal performance.

The compressor section includes threshold, ratio, attack and release controls, and the high-pass frequency control lets you adjust which high frequency content will get compressed, to ensure that the sibilance is reduced while the rest of the voice remains pristine.

With Sybil, everything you need to get control of vocal sibilance is right at your fingertips.
